What if an agent accidentally, or perhaps even intentionally, had a disguise that would somehow break canon rules of the continuum, then...

Let me explain this better. *Ahem*

For instance, in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, it's established that there has been no humans in Narnia for a hundred years until the Pevensie children arrive due to a prophecy. So it would be inadvisable for a human agent to remain a human if they were in a Narnia badfic that took place during the timeline of that book.

But what if an agent forgot this, and did remain as a human while in the badfic, therefore breaking canon. What do you think would happen? Would the DORKS automatically change to protect canon... Or could the agent somehow die or get knocked unconscious or something else that the continuum might do to fight back and protect itself?

I would give it the capacity to recognize which species are canon and which would break canon, and send back an error message if you tried to tell it to turn you into something that wasn't canon. But if I were designing a CAD, I'd design it to be able to handle awful Sues without blowing up, so I guess that's not saying much.

Some agents are given missions in continua they aren't even casual fans of. Okay, the one I'm thinking of was an RPF, so the agents were at least familiar with the world in which it was set, but they knew nothing whatsoever about the "characters." They missed some charges and charged for some things which weren't actually OOC...it was a mess. But it was canon to the PPC, so we must work with the knowledge that this does happen sometimes.

That the DORKS might not do it automatically unless it was a special one. It would probably be up to the canon on how much it dislikes humans. I have seen an andelite run around a human world without problems.

In the case of Lion witch and Wardrobe, canon would probably accept random humans in Narnia. There were humans on the planet that contains Narnia, descendants of Frank and Calormorenes. (Gets bit by mini-dragon.) I was actually under the impression that humans wandered in from elsewhere often enough that the witch got one during Tumnus' lifetime.

Anyway, my guess would be for humans to be basically acceptable because beings so similar to humans as to make no real difference seem to appear throughout Narnia; I may be completely wrong on this point.

To put it another way: IF basically-human characters appear in the Narnia series, then humans should be fine, just as they are in Star Wars despite humans technically not existing there.

If I'm wrong, then I doubt the DORKS would fix it automatically. The Ironic Overpower wouldn't let that just slide; it would be milked for all the drama and comedy it's worth.
