I can remember first reading your writing and thinking... woah. This is good. Like, really good. Wow. You have the gift of communicating exactly what you want, and you use varied and interesting words to do so. I hope I can be as good some day.

This is not the thread for writing stories. That'll be a little later. This is a thread of pure madness wherein we list the pairings (and more-ings) we ship in the PPC community. And then the list will be used to kick-start the main Shipfest, because it's actually made things dramatically more fun for the last two years. (Weird, right? I do something and it works?)
Da Rules:
-List your PPC Community ships - people in the PPC community (not organisation) that you totally think are/should be together.
-Give reasons for your ships. Otherwise it's just a random name generator.
-Revenge shipping is perfectly okay!
-Shipping someone with yourself - if you're not actually in a relationship - is a bit creepy; please don't do it.
-No stories. This is just a list. Stories is a later thread. (If you want to say whether you're willing to have stories written about you, go ahead; people can get a head-start on the writing-but-not-posting that way.)
-Have fun! It's a ludicrous exercise in ridiculousness, after all.
If you have a vehement objection to being even mentioned in a ship name, speak up, and people won't do it; it's as simple as that. And again - when the main Shipfest thread comes round, no-one will write stories with you in them unless you specifically give consent.
So... let the shipping commence!

This should not be construed as me shipping myself with Des. It is just a horrible joke that I couldn't resist making because "French press" sounds kinda sexy. ^_^;
In other news, my brother recently violated the French press I use for loose leaf tea by putting coffee in it. Now, despite soaking the thing over and over in hot water, once with dish soap, once with baking soda, there's still a faint smell and aftertaste of coffee. This displeases me.

It's certainly instant, but whatever the hell micturated that off-brown slop into a poor, unwitting cup, it certainly wasn't anything connected to coffee.
Then again, I can't really talk. I scarf Irn-Bru down by the carboy, and that's not technically something you can drink.
That is, I declare the good ship Mesh/Ix/Des/Scape/Hardric/Tea/Sweet Coffee/French Press/French Press' cousin to be extant. Write it if you dare!

One of those very weird and strange things that people can take part in, but only if they want, considering as mentioned, it ships Boarders, rather than agents (though they too, sometimes show up).
As long as you're fine with silly shipping and things sometimes getting out moderate (well intentioned) of hand, it's more than okay for you to take part.
