Your counterarguments for points 1-3 seem to be 'it wasn't her that was special, it was the circumstances.' Which, uh, is how about 90% of Suvians justify it. "There's nothing special about Gary Stuart - it's not his fault he was pulled into Middle-earth in exactly the right place to stumble across the Teflon Ring and was then asked - he didn't volunteer, he was begged - to go on the Quest so that Gandalf could use him (again, he's not doing anything!) as a power source! And it's certainly not his fault Legolas fell in love with him - he doesn't even like men, how can you blame that on him?"

To which the PPC would quite rightly reply, "Hi Gary, we're from the Department of Mary Sues, and boy, have we got some charges for you..."

... I think I lost track of where this was going.

The actual justification for point 2 in particular is 'Iximaz writes lots of stories, so Rina is going to be a prominent character. Nothing wrong with that'. Dafydd went the same way.

PS: Also, we should appoint Rassilon Lord President of the PPC and take over the universe. Since I'm supposed to be his advocate and all. ;) ~hS
