Hello! I'm Quihi, a newbie to the PPC. I actually discovered the PPC about 2 years ago and posted once or twice on the board as Quiet Hiker before discovering I was really too busy to ever visit the Board. Now I've been looking at the wiki and the Board regularly for about a month, and I'm hoping to actually stick around this time. I'm not sure how often I'll actually be able to post, but I feel awkward just stalking the PPC.
My favorite fandoms are pretty basic: Lord of the Rings, some Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, and Percy Jackson along with some smaller ones like The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Secret Series.
I have indeed read the Constitution and some of the FAQs, and the Original Series (and saved that to to my iPod so I can reread it again, for that matter).
I can't think if I'm missing anything, so hello! -

Sorry for the late reply, but welcome to the madhouse! Here's a T-rex tooth, a fist-sized ammolite stone, a model hydra skeleton, and a wall map of Middle Earth!

Thanks for all the gifts!
I don't really want to reply to each post individually since I think I've gotten the hang of posting. -

I was quite a bit of a lurker myself. We also share the HP fandom, so... *high-fives*
Have a Rorschach Book. Hold it with your eyes closed, think about what you wanna read, blink on purpose three times and it should have changed. -

Now, for your gift... A pen that does stuff. Uncap it to find out what. It will most certainly not hurt you. Maybe. Just point it away from your face and I'm sure it will be fine.

Here's your starter Pokémon:
Iiiiiit's Cloyster!
And your starting item is:
Soldier's Syringe from Risk of Rain!
Now, Soldier's Syringe is a pretty nice item in both in-game and competitive play. What it does is act like a better Hone Claws, with a 50% chance to boost your Attack, Accuracy, or Speed by 1 stage every time you take damage from a contact move. On Cloyster, it works quite well, because you can switch into one and get a free boost before you Shell Smash and sweep 4 daze. =] -

Hey, newbie! Welcome to the community. What's your preferred pronoun? Here, have this cup of tea, which most definitely won't shout at you like a drill sergeant then try to eat your face when you're not looking, no siree.

Thank you for the tea! I think!
Depending on the situation and speaker, I like she, her, and hers. I also like I, me, mine, you, your, yours, and the appropriate corresponding plural pronouns. *checks old English notebook* Oh, and my. -

Anyway, welcome (back) aBoard! For your returnbie gift, take this plate of freshly-made SPaGhetti!
Let's see, since you already know where to find the required reading, I'll just leave you with a list of my favorite spin-offs.
Hope you like it here! :D -

Out of curiosity, can you ride on the shovel while it flies, or does it just go and have underground adventures on its own?
