Now, Soldier's Syringe is a pretty nice item in both in-game and competitive play. What it does is act like a better Hone Claws, with a 50% chance to boost your Attack, Accuracy, or Speed by 1 stage every time you take damage from a contact move. On Cloyster, it works quite well, because you can switch into one and get a free boost before you Shell Smash and sweep 4 daze. =]
