...one of the questions asks for a preference of various activities, with one of the answers indicating a love for books and reading (which counts as a point for Ravenclaw). Considering that the source material is a book series and that fans of said books will be taking the Pottermore quiz, chances are the grand majority of them will like books and thus give that answer. Because of this, Ravenclaw is by nature of the quiz going to have an advantage. (This is just me spitballing, though - feel free to tell me I'm wrong! ^_^)
Merlin was in Slytherin, but most Ravenclaws are going to put the book of merlin as the first item they would save because, well, it's Merlin, duh! Also, you are more likely to get Slytherin if you choose the river in the forest vs river question. This is most likely because Slytherin's common room is under the lake. The point is, most Slytherin-like answers are the ones a Ravenclaw would naturally choose.
There are the movies too, remember. : P
*pops over to have a look*
WHOA WHOA WHOA WAIT. What happened to the old format? D:
*pokes around the site for a bit before giving up in despair*
In mourning the loss of Old Pottermore. May the memory of all the FireboltChasers and ThestralCrimsons live on forever in our hearts.
I spend way too much time theory-heading about abstract stuff.
and Gryffindor on the personalitylab test that no longer exists. I still have to find a test that puts me into Hufflepuff :-)

A July is not surprised. Others may be.
Though I was half sure I'd end up in Hufflepuff, since I kept picking 'Puff answers. What's the point of wisdom if not to do good, after all?

I'm a Hufflepuff! And I've always been one; I like both Houses equally.
I always thought I would be a Ravenclaw, but both this and the official quiz gave me Gryffindor. *shrugs* I ain't even mad.
My answers were all distributed rather evenly, though. Gryffindor had 14, Hufflepuff had 11, Ravenclaw had 10, and Slytherin had 9.
...Can I call myself Divergent?
-Alleb
...but the bridge troll one was a hard question to answer.
...Weird. But hi, fellow Gryffindor! *waves*
-Alleb
Not particularly surprising.
I am a Slytherclaw by this hybrid house quiz.
-Phobos
I only had one more Gryffindor answer than Ravenclaw, so I'm like an in-between. Like, a Ravenclaw with a hero complex.
Though when I took the actual Pottermore Quiz I got Slytherin. I always have seen myself as a Ravenclaw personally.
I've never been overly-impressed with the Sorting Hat quizzes, if only because I think they place too much emphasis on 'liking to read' as a Ravenclaw trait. *coughs and looks at Hermione*
I think I'm actually a Gryffindor, but only because I don't really fit any of the other Houses. I'm not particularly drawn to schoolwork or learning (don't get me wrong, I like learning new things, but I don't go 'hmm, what should I learn about today?'), I'm not patient and I'm definitely not hardworking, and I'm very much not cunning or ambitious. It's less the fact that I'm brave or chivalrous and more the fact I'm the leftovers from the other Houses.
I took the test just now; I said Ravenclaw because that's what Pottermore put me in, and I figured the results would be the same.
Apparently now I'm a 'Puff?
:D I do like badgers.
Everyone knows that Hufflepuff is where the leftovers from the other Houses go! =]
We have plenty of room left: we're the "rest of the lot" House after all!
I wouldn't have minded ending up as a Hufflepuff — I greatly respect loyalty and the ability to work hard — but, alas, I do not lean that way.
That is, Ravenclaw. It's been consistent for years; no surprise, here.
I questioned the legitimacy of that Sorting at first. I spent most of the quiz trying to figure out how the quiz worked. That seemed a bit cheaty to me at the time, but upon completion and further consideration, it only serves to support the Sorting. Learning is most prized by the Ravenclaws after all.
In Pottermore proper I was sorted into Gryffindor. It is rather interesting to see how that decision changes over time.
Only one time I had Ravenclaw, so I guess I'd be close to a Hatstall :D
I always get Hufflepuff whenever I do these tests. Not that I'm complaining: it's a pretty decent house. It may not have the smartest students, or the most cunning, or the most brave, or... or...
Um. Yeah.
Tonks and Newt Scamander have already been pointed out, so let me just say this: Remember Cedric Diggory!
There also were Bridget Wenlock who was a very famous Arithmancer and Grogan Stump, former Minister of Magic.
The fact that Hufflepuff has produced the fewest number of Dark Wizards out of all houses also helps. And Hufflepuff was second only to Gryffindor in the numbers of students who stayed behind to fight against Voldermort's forces during the Battle of Hogwarts. Loyal indeed.
Happy to know I would be in my favourite House, although Hufflepuff was a close one too.
P.S. : Tonks was a Hufflepuff too, if I remember it right, so don't worry about Hufflepuff's qualities.
They're extremely loyal, and loyalty has always been most important to me. Besides, Newt Scamander was a Hufflepuff, if I remember my trivia correctly.
Of course, I ended up in...
Hufflepuff? Weird. Not that I'm complaining, but usually I get Slytherin from these.
Hufflepuff, of course. Go Puffs!
Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure, after all~
