Subject: Naw, that's not Hufflepuff at all!

In an interview of some sort, the Queen was talking about Hufflepuff, and she mentioned something that really redefined the way I looked at the House. (Spoilers for Deathly Hallows, but I somehow doubt that that's an issue for anyone on here.)

She mentioned what the different Houses did during the Battle of Hogwarts. The Gryffindors all stayed, of course: but she says that their bravery is, in some sense, fool-hardy and show-offish. Most of the Ravenclaws leave, interested in their own skins, and a few stay. The Slytherins, of course, all leave. But Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff stays almost to a man, and for all the right reasons. They're fighting for their school, for their families, for their friends. They're fighting for loyalty. That's the opposite of boring and run of the mill.

Hufflepuffs are awesome, and I shan't let you forget it. =]
