Nice to see another Star Wars fan about! I'm more of Clone Wars though Galactic Civil War sort, but I can definitely understand the appeal of the Old Republic era. As for the Yuuzhan Vong... Well, to each their own.
So then, for your newbie gifts, a Replica Holocron (First time I've given one to someone who listed Star Wars as a fandom, yay!) and a pocket cutlass. Simply press the button on the scabbard and it shrinks to allow comfortable pocket transportation.
Finally, what Hogwarts House do you call home? I'm a Hufflepuff myself, but you strike me as a Ravenclaw. Am I right? -

Here is a pot of black-hole coffee, to keep you awake in the dark depths of Cthulhu Mythos. Always remember the greatest hero, Old Man Henderson, the one who permakilled Hastur.
And of course welcome for a long time, I hope, to the madhouse. -

Here's an iron ring so you can punch Sue-wraiths in the face, a coffee mug, and a Hufflepuff scarf! Because Hufflepuff = <3

Welcome to our little corner of the internet. We're all pretty friendly here, so don't worry too much. Just sit back, relax, and have yourself some fun. :)
For your newbie gift, I give you a working lightsaber! It has a blade at both ends, so be careful what you're standing near when you activate it.
Welcome to the PPC! Enjoy your stay! -

Have either of y'all looked at your existential horror stories and thought that they could use a (sort-of parody) spy agency, a big pile of nerdy jokes, and a snarky narrator? If so, you might want to stick Charles Stross's Laundry Files series (first book is The Atrocity Archives) on your reading list.

Maybe in fifty or so years, when I've finally gotten through that bloody list, we can kick back and talk and laugh about our favourite parts of it!

Ooh, I've been meaning to read those. Some are on Hoopla, I believe, but for the full set I'll probably have to go to Amazon. Once my number of Hoopla downloads renews at the end of the month I'll see if I can get Atrocity Archives.

Hello, and welcome aBoard! For your newbie gift, take this plate of freshly-made SPaGhetti!
Looks like we've got a pretty good number of fandoms in common! Hope you decide to stick around for a while; it's always nice to have new people. :) -

Hmm, out of curiosity, which of the missions you've read so far are your favorites and why? Totally not asking for the sake of our nonexistent candidate screening process, nope not at all >_>; -

I'd have to say "Don't Fear the Reaper". It was a nuclear explosion of lolwut. Although that Indiana Jones clusterfrell came pretty close. Because I am a total mental child, I still snerked like Butthead over "Sore of the Explorer", though.

Thanks for the gift! I don't plan to write missions right away, I'd like to get known on the board first.
Oh, I forgot to list some other fandoms I'm competent enough to work in- Stand Still Stay Silent, the webcomic by Minna Sundberg. And the Evil Dead-verse. These are kind of obscure, though. Probably why I forgot them before.
