Same, same, same. History is so great. I love SATW, but so much of it is based on rumors or culture or current events; I'm considering returning to Hetalia for the HISTORY.
Fan theories, headcanons, they're all lovely. What are your favorites? "So great" makes me curious.

I accidentally stumbled across the PPC wiki derping around on the web about 4? years back then one day about 1-2 years ago I finally got around to reading the original stories. What finally got me posting on the board after all these years was having a LOTR movie marathon and revisiting the LOTR section on ff.net haha. Read OFUM realized misscam used to be part of the PPC and decided I had to engage in the community!
I've read the Constitution and FAQ, which is kinda where I'm getting all my inspiration from right now X)
I'm a cis female, Asian, live in Texas but have dual American-Taiwanese citizenship, speak English first, Mandarin badly.
Fun fact: my author name was originally cooked up when I made an Elven character on LOTRO a looong time ago haha. It's also my League gamer tag if anyone wants to play with me ;) [I'm p bad though #unranked]
Fanfic writing wise I spend most of my time lurking on asianff, AO3, and ff.net in that order.

Shady fact: not sure if I should share this and get made fun of, but I was at the prime age when the Twilight franchise was big, so there maybe 1-2 maybe 6 twilight fanfics floating on the internet with my name stamped on them.

For your newbie gift, have this Royal Ice Cream Container! Close the lid, state a flavor, open the lid, bam, ice cream! It comes with every flavor, but the flavors that aren't typical ice cream flavors are all accurate to what they're supposed to replicate, so I wouldn't recommend eating, say, desk-flavored ice cream.

Code Geass was actually my first anime fandom so it's definitely up there on my list, and I thought Ouran was okayyyy.
All time favorites are Hetalia, Kimi ni Todoke, fruits basket [but I preferred the manga much more] Noragami and Gintama. I've also recently gone on a sports anime binge so Free, KuroBas, and Haikyuu!! are pretty close to my heart <3
I was a pretty intense Hetalia fan for a couple years and I still have a huge soft spot for it. I never finished the anime, though; I'm more of a manga person. Were you ever part of the fandom? I was really into Hetalia too about 2 years back and I haven't found another anime that fills that hole yet. I was very involved in the fandom, especially on DeviantArt. I'm a huge history nerd so everything about the show that was actually based on history was great. I couldn't help but love Austria/Prussia/Hungary relationship though :P
I don't really know any fan theories besides the Germany becomes HRE and Greece/Byzantine/Roman Empire family lineage wreck because I prefer Hetalia head cannons a lot more. Some of them are actually so great.

I'm a Hufflepuff myself, but my cousin's a Slytherin. I was also sorted into Slytherin on Pottermore once upon a time, but I don't much trust that quiz.
Ha! Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff. I had to make 2 accounts before it gave me the proper sorting. That quiz is so random.
I was sorted into Slytherin three times before I was sorted into the right House. My cousin still doesn't believe it, but I'm half convinced he just holds on to the concept of me as a Slytherin because he knows it annoys me.
Because not only are Skarmory from Johto, but my own real-life parents immigrated to the US from Indonesia, so yee.

Te administrator of the site, Mervin did a wonderful critic of the series with her sister. Said sister also wrote severral sprklepires' backstories, except now they're characters you can like, and is halfway through a (sadly) non published rewrite of Twilight the first. Let's say the two first unbetaed chapters uesd as previews trump the book and leave it at that.

I've just re-read the Original Series and decided I'm going to dive into some more missions instead of sleeping haha
this might be a dumb question but how do I italicize and bold text on the board?
< i > and < / i > for italics
< b > and < / b > for bold
< s > and < / s > for strikethrough
Basically, they're < i > for italics and < b > for bold (there's also more, like < u > for underlined and < s > for striken)
Take off the spaces near the letters (I had to put them in to... well, not make the browser interpret them as tags), and remember to "close" all opened tags at the end of the relevant sentence or message. (example < /i > for italics)
