I was linked to one of those websites that send you through a hundred redirects, as if I had clicked a virus ad. Does anyone know anything about this?
Hello, PPC! My name is SkaterTheDJWolf, or just Skater if you prefer. I am very honored to become part of the PPC Board.
I've been reading some of your sporkings, like the Rise of the Galeforces one and the Original. Series, and I think I'm starting to get a feel for things around here. Of course, being a newbie, I have a question as well:
Do you need to have Permission to contribute to the Wiki's compendium of knowledge about continua? I can't find pages about the Undertale or Yu-Gi-Oh! continua, and I'd like to contribute to this establishment's compendium of knowledge with my own experience.

I'm not actually any of those. It's just a name I came up with when I was a Suethor based on my Minecraft skin, and the name just stuck. But thanks for the extra bouncy balls! Do you KNOW how many Sues you could execute (or at least seriously irritate) at a time with these?
Considering how bouncy they are? Not many I'm afraid. Now how many Sues could they distract? That's a much better question with a much bigger answer.

I'm one of the more amateur member's of the PPC's technical... loose association of people who do stuff with computers or whatever. I'm a 40k fan, and just generally a fan of weird SF/Fantasy and nonsense. And other stuff. Lots of stuff.
Take this Aperture Science Companion Cube with you. Make sure to take good care of it. It will most assuredly never attempt to stab you in the back.

I notice you seem to have forgotten to share with us what fandoms you might be a part of. Care to share?
In the meantime, have this recharger rifle from the Mojave Wasteland! Don't worry about silly things like feeding it ammo, its microfusion breeder can feed it indefinitely! (Or, well, up until it breaks...)

Of course, those are only the fandoms I'm currently active in. There are more continua I'm at least moderately-versed in!
Fairly certain that that fandom's been a little underrepresented here compared to how large it is. I know of exactly one mission in that 'verse, which is over here if you haven't read it. (It also established the official mini- the Normal-Sized Temmie.)
And yeah, Yu-Gi-Oh! too, that's a much older fandom that also doesn't have much representation. Can't think of any missions in it...
Well, good to see some representation in fandoms not frequently touched, then.
And oh, you read my mission involving THAT old cringewreck of mine? X'D Nice! I'm happy to see that people still appreciate our older stuff. I've currently got four spinoffs with published content (the Galeforces mission is from the first one I came up with) if you wanna check thosse out, and other people I'd recommend are Herr Wozzeck's Florestan and Eusabius and Voyd's Valon and Kala (though the latter is no longer active, they had a good run while they were still here).

Also, I forgot to ask this earlier, but does unfinished badfic (2 or 3 chapters) pose a threat to the integrity of a continuum?
(Pun totally not intended.)
Some missions take whole decades to finish writing - whether or not the badfic is complete, or gets completed over the course of mission-writing - or even if the whole fic gets missioned, if the agents can gather a minimum amount of charges.
So, it's no big deal what you set as your first fic. ^^

Welcome, Skater! I'm Twistey, a one-year-bie who has too many ideas and loves cheese. I'll be on here pretty much daily until the end of summer, so if you have anything to ask me, I'll be happy to answer. I kinda specialize in analyzing character bios and other short, overarching-idea things, so I'd love to hear any agent ideas you have!

And for your newbie present? I haven't given any of these items out in a while, so here's a bundle of Wolfenstein 3D-related stuff: a replica Spear of Destiny, a Very Flat Flamethrower, a replica "Call Apogee Say 'Aardwolf'" sign, a few blue bricks, some shiny blue metal, and what used to be a stained glass window. Why so many things, you ask? I highly encourage you to combine them into something. Be creative! Make something for your virtual self or for your agents. :D

YWO inserts random links to ads into our text. Not much we can really do about it. Just don't click them, and try not to mouse over them.
Any other circumstances? What else was going on on your computer? Maybe this'll help us diagnose it.

Since you already know about the Wiki and the Original Series, I'll just point you to the Constitution. :)
As for writing on the Wiki, we don't put pages for different continua unless there's been a mission or two done there. Not really much sense in trying to catalogue every work of fiction when you really only need references to the ones you might come across while reading missions, yeah?
If you see pages that are in need of expanding, though, feel free to fill them out. The only thing off-limits, really, are other people's agent pages.
(Also, if you want some awesome spinoffs to read: Neshomeh's stuff is my favorite. Supernumerary and Ilraen, and Derik and Gall are great pairs.)
