I'll have to give it another read without the beta hat on. Cheers!

Today is a rare treat! doctorlit actually publishes a full-length PPC work!
This takes place back in 2011, immediately after my mission "Pick Your Poison" and during the tail end of the Poison Joke Incident—in fact, we finally see how that incident got resolved, since the solution was never covered during the RP.
The action picks up with Vania speaking in text boxes; Doc's near vision being reversed, leaving him in a terrible mood; both of them bringing two small, not-very-glittery Sues back to their RC because Vania wanted to recruit them; and a large number of inky minis far too close to Doc's bookshelf. I hope you enjoy reading! Why? Because we like you.
—doctorlit, a very reasonable seven years behind in his writing
But while rereading "Pick your Poison" to get the context, I may have picked some glitches:
But the truth is, this is isn’t your story, or your world.
"is" shouldn’t be there?
You do not have a daughter—or a wife, for that matter—and have never met anyone else currently standing this room.
Missing word "in"?
And there may be another one in "Because we like you":
He impacted the wall and bounced off onto to the floor.
Either "to" or "onto" should not be there?
I liked Miss MacKinnon’s part best.
HG
I've got all those errors repaired now.
I rather like Miss MacKinnon; I'm glad my agents recruited her. I need to make her a wiki page one of these days . . .
—doctorlit, going to wiki a page this weekend, maybe
It was cute getting to see Mollie and Ollie get settled into the Nursery. And Miss MacKinnon recounting her first reaction to seeing all those books was great. :)
I assume we can see a follow-up in 2025?
I'll have to sit down and get all those prompts I did with the Nursery kids sorted into some semblance of order next.
I figured Miss MacKinnon deserved some character beyond, "please adopt this child immediately." And now she gets her own pet. Yay!
Hey, now. This was a pair of stories that had origins in 2011. So it only took me three-and-a-half years each. It's much more reasonable to expect a follow-up around the switch from 2021 to 2022.
—doctorlit, far more productive than you make him out to be
This was really cute and made me smile! I'm a sucker for stories where people fight and then both realize they overreacted or didn't quite get it, and this is a good one. (Though personally I would have reacted pretty much the same way as Doc about the books -- maybe I should reexamine my priorities.)
But yeah, I really liked it! A fantastic interlude!
I was worried about balancing an argument that felt real enough to matter with, you know, actually keeping the story fun and humorous. So I'm glad it worked for you!
Oh, I would absolutely have the same reaction as Doc—he's based on me, after all. So I'm not one to talk about priorities . . .
—doctorlit, pleased
I'll have to give it another read without the beta hat on. Cheers!

-Drat, it cut off. =p Hopefully my message remains obvious.
And I really like how Vania explained traversing HQ. These discussions are always a treat to read!
And YAY for the Pinkie Pie cameo~
Doc's reaction to the [SPOILERS] was priceless. X)
And I'm glad you enjoyed them both! They were both kind of tricky to write, truth be told, so I'm very happy to hear they entertained.
—doctorlit, thinking of doing a simpler mission for the next installment
