Hi everyone, I'm new here, and just wanted to drop in and say hello. (Was that redundant?)
I'm very excited to be here, and just a little bit nervous.

Hi everyone, I'm new here, and just wanted to drop in and say hello. (Was that redundant?)
I'm very excited to be here, and just a little bit nervous.
Adding to the shower of odd gifts you're probably getting, here's a self-updating hard copy of the List of Things I Am Not Allowed to Do in the PPC. Welcome aBoard! (>'-')>
Yeah, is a bit weird when you first post on here, but you've jumped in. So here's a floaty.
Hope you have a great time onBoard! Have a shovel.
Have some popcorn to eat while you read the Original Series!
Have a hot chocolate!
Have a slightly used suit of Imperial Guard flak armor, guaranteed for life. (Average lifespan of a deployed Imperial Guardsman: 15 hours.)
OCEAN MAN!
TAKE ME BY THE HAND LEAD ME TO THE LAND!
Ummm... Is it bad to mention that I have no idea what that song is?
(I also have realized that I forgot to fill out the Author field ofy last two responses, and feel the corresponding shame.)
*quiets down* Ahem. Ahem hem.
Hi, I'm Twistey. Have a Super Crown that I'm trying to keep from getting into the hands of my boyfriend (Willis64). Welcome aBoard.

Thanks!
Here, have some chocolate and enjoy your stay!
And don't worry, we don't bite... much.
Thanks!
Should I be worried about the amount of biting? Is it reasonable and rational, or a frightening amount?
Well, if you already have all this chocolate, let me give you a pot of black-hole coffee. Hope you'll enjoy your stay here for a long time.
Too much chocolate? Never!
But I appreciate your gift of coffee, thank you.
/have some chocolate bark!
What are your favorite fandoms, fics and so forth? And missions, of course? ;)
I'm probably a member of too many fandoms if I have to be honest. I can't really say I have a favorite fic, but I have to say that I enjoy the 'what if' fics the most. They don't tend to have lots of OCs, and if they do, they're well written, which is nice.
I don't think I'm able to pick a favorite mission, because part of what I love about the PPC is that no matter which fic or agents I'm reading, everything is beautifully written and well characterized.
Thank you for the chocolate!
And that greeting really does apply here, given your username. XD Oh, may I ask what fandoms you're a part of?
In the meantime, have one of my own shed feathers and a complimentary kit of Spikes!
Let me think for a second about fandoms... I belong to the Rick Riodan fandom, Harry Potter (of course), David Eddings, the Mistborn trilogy (haven't picked up some of the more recent books from that series, but loved the first three), Dragonriders of Pern, kinda sorta the Wheel of Time, How to Train Your Dragon (started reading the books when I was younger, enjoyed the movies, although they could be closer to the book Canon,) and a bunch more.
Thank you for the feather, and I'm sure that the Spikes will come in handy. (I have a younger sibling, so they will get some kind of use.)
I'm going to try something new with your Welcome Gift, and send my customary Swiss bleepolate in the hands of an adorably sleepy polar bear cub! It's good for hugs and may stick around if you want it to.
Also a standard: have you read the PPC Constitution yet? It's important and thus the first thing we send everyone to read upon arrival :) I believe there's a link at the top of the page!
And I'm going to let someone else take it from here, because I'm at least as sleepy as that polar bear cub... :)

Yes, I did read it. I wanted to make sure that my first post followed the guidelines. Thank you for the Polar Bear cub and the bleepolate! (Out of curiosity, how is that pronounced?)
As for bleepolate...it's a portmanteau of bleep+chocolate. There are probably other pronunciations, but I tend to go with "BLEEP-oh-let". I could definitely see it being just "BLEEP-let", though, given how "chocolate" is pronounced in English.

You can have an ocean-themed gift to go with your name: a seashell with magic powers!
Thank you so much!
