I'm a couple chapters in, and sadly hampered by lack of knowledge of Worm, but I love how things are mashing together already! Stopping time is very concerning, from a superpowers perspective, and I'll gush more once I've read more!
It is a crossover thing. With Worm. Also AU on the latter's part, for the sake of consistency (and my preferred tropes).
It's a little over 34k words, and takes place post-GWP on the YW side, and pre-canon on the Worm side.

I may or may not have mentioned the existence of this fic when I first finished it, but I am now transcribing my Young Wizards/WWW Trilogy crossover onto AO3!

Worm as a canon gets very wack, very fast. XD Individually, a wizard's abilities wouldn't be all that out-of-place for the canon, but their source, and the mechanisms behind it, very much make wizards outliers.
(The time-stopping trick is a variant/adaptation of what plays out in the thread, as well - I never found out what 'howling and hope' was meant to be, but I think I did a good job extrapolating the rest of the context and putting my own twist on things.)
