Worm as a canon gets very wack, very fast. XD Individually, a wizard's abilities wouldn't be all that out-of-place for the canon, but their source, and the mechanisms behind it, very much make wizards outliers.

(The time-stopping trick is a variant/adaptation of what plays out in the thread, as well - I never found out what 'howling and hope' was meant to be, but I think I did a good job extrapolating the rest of the context and putting my own twist on things.)
