I'm sure you're trying your best, but it's obvious that you are, to be blunt for a moment, simply wrong. This idea that bipeds can't stand to look at each other without artificial additives is completely nonsensical. How could such a thing even evolve? It would be like... like needing a pot to stand up, before pots had even been invented!

It might make sense for Suvians, since they appear to have evolved as a parasite species; this could be a form of adaptive camouflage. But the majority of bipeds are not--
