Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference before I knew this, so you're doing awfully good so far. I agree on the site thing, but I also think that the reason that there are so few non-english fics floating out there is because people feel like they won't have an audience if they don't write in English. It's kind of a vicious cycle.

I've always wanted to learn Italian, but there's only so many languages I can cram into my school career. I agree on the not bothering bit: if you're not fluent and don't care to try to type as fluently as possible, then you're writing in the wrong language and should probably stop and do something you care enough about to put more work into. I mean, clearly there's pressure to produce work in English even if you're not very good at English, but it's one thing to say "forgive me for a couple grammar mistakes, I'm still learning," and another entirely to say "Don't criticize my grammar, I don't speak this language!"
