Nine years ago today, somehow, I made my first post on the Board. Well, the Old Board, but you get the picture. I'm not entirely sure how this happened, but there you go!
/Throws a party at the Board at large and scuttles off to get some rest after a long day and an intensive week. :P/
~Z, rambling far, far less than in her introductory thread
This week is already turning out rather tiring as well, somehow, though thankfully less hectic so far (so far >.>) so I'm just going to drop in a collective thank you before I look up and realize it's the middle of the week and this thread is getting buried.
Can't promise any further responses here, but I leave you with this: the Percy Jackson Musical (aka the Lightning Thief--the soundtrack image seems to have both names on there) is...surprisingly good, if you give it a chance to play? The trailer I saw of the actual show looks a bit underwhelming, but the soundtrack seemed that way at first, too, so...who knows! Anyway, if you liked the books and enjoy musicals, it might be worth giving some of the songs a listen.
Edit: here's a link to the soundtrack on YouTube. The bonus songs are fun, too--I like "Pick A Side". Obviously, spoilers all around for the musical and the first Percy Jackson book (not sure if it works in anything from later books, as it's been a while since I read them and I haven't seen the musical or even heard the full soundtrack yet, but just...assume there are spoilers ahead, especially in the later songs. From what I remember of the book, the first song just covers the first chapter or two, though--even mimics Percy's narration to a certain extent).

Hope you're doing well, Zing!
but it turns out I didn't, because my brain is on "let's not and say we did" mode. Anyway, happy Boardiversary!!
I think this is a fitting song for the occasion: The Last Length
It took me waaaaay too long to figure out how to spell 'boardaversery'
Haha, I can never remember my Boardiversaries. Happy Boardiversary, it's good to see you! Hope next week is less chaotic.
And we shall see. One day this week, I spent at least three hours arranging remote access and getting the following day's work switched to remote. I'm not kidding about the at least three hours. I think the actual number is more like three and a half, but that's not even counting the half hour or more I spent figuring out what I wanted to try to make happen and how to do it. I...don't think I want the real figure, actually. On the plus side, it worked! We'll probably do it again next week, except with more like fifteen minutes of arranging things! So possibly next week really will go a bit smoother. That would be cool :)
And yeah, I don't know, I seem to have memorized the date by now ;) I wrote it out and then went, hm, what's significant about January 13th...? Oh! Right. Hm, will I make a post this year?
As you can see, I did, and there ends this impromptu story, because it's becoming ever-clearer to me that I need rest. Hope things are going well for you.
