Fish soup/chowder

  • 3 large potatoes washed and chopped into small cubes

  • 2 onions, peeled and chopped

  • 3 carrots, washed and chopped into small pieces

  • Water

  • 1 package of smoked salmon

  • Milk or half and half

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • your choice of herbs

  • Olive oil

  1. Saute the vegetables in a frying pan until they are mostly cooked.

  2. Fill a large pot about ⅔ of the way with water. Add the vegetables and salt and pepper. Boil until everything is soft.

  3. Add the milk and smoked salmon and cook for a few more minutes. Your soup is done.
