Yay! My first mini! (It’s all mine...) And now on my wiki page. Though, if it's a pov is it really a mini?

Oh well. Maybe the coin is actually orange blossoms? Then I'd have both a pov and mini for the same character. And the pov can hoard the mini-Gold Sand Dollar. When I do get my agents, I can pass it along to them. That coin makes a great plot device!

Sorry I didn't review sooner; it's been a pretty packed week!
Wow, Strawberry Shortcake is still a thing?! Like, ongoing? I didn't realize it had any new canon produced after the 1980s. I remember my sisters still had some
SS wow, no, bad acronym on that titleSBSC merch sitting around the house as I grew up. Weird that I never heard anything about new material, even by accidental add viewing! Well, on behalf of my now-adult sisters, thank you for defending this canon!Sand dollars, eh? Clever use of a non-currency currency on the show's part. A mini that's more like an object is a unique concept, especially with how it can affect people! Are the minis like actual sand dollars, like, can they crawl very slowly? Maybe need salt water to stay hydrated properly?
I like how you structured this mission, with Urato getting enticed to wander away for more sand dollars, only to get caught up in the flashback. It felt like a very natural narrative progression! I also like the point Inasuke made about not performing assassinations within SBSC, since it would have the wrong tone for that canon. It felt like a very Original Series-esque observation to make!
A couple minor errorish things:
"This was however not the most aggravating the house had to offer."
I feel like either "aggravating thing" or "aggravation" would be a little more grammatically correct, there. Just feels like a noun belongs in there.". . . in an undescribed environment of endless beige where Avocado and black licorice converse."
I think you want "conversed" here, just to match the past tense of the rest of the paragraph?—doctorlit got a weird sense of enjoyment from picturing SBSC characters dissolving Infinity Stone-style

The continuity being sporked here is the second series (2003-2008). There are two reboots after that one: one in 2010 and one in 2021, the former caused a bit of ruckus for whitewashing a previously black character and feminine-izing previously tomboy characters (oh, I'm especially irked by this one; even worse, the only one with tomboy tendencies in this reboot is the villain), and the latter disliked for just being not pleasing to look at.
About the sand dollars: they're just objects in the show, basically saucer-sized coins lying around on the beach and under the sea. Still doesn't make them any less dangerous 🤣
As always, thanks for commenting 😉

Why, that's sand dollar erasure! :< by

Why do starfish get all the attention?! Sand dollars are lifeforms, too! Though I suppose the gold dollars in the show could just be the remnant test left behind after death, like we find of sand dollars in the real world.

Knock once if there's an arthropod forcing you to send pro-invertebrate messages. I wouldn't put it past our ancient enemies to try that kind of thing.

Arthropods and invertebrates good actually! Come, hS, come and visit the Butterfly Wonderland here in Arizona, you see, all the beautiful butterflies and moths? Our entire agricultural system is dependent on such pollinators to keep our plants breeding . . . uh . . . just need to make a quick stop at my condo here . . .
swats a wasp that slipped in through the patio door
Anyway, let's next head to my zoo, and the invertebrate touch tank! We have pencil urchins, and they're delightfully rough to the feel! And horseshoe crabs, very smooth and ancient friends! But the best friend of all is the slipper lobster! Watch them scuttle about! See the little face feelers flicking here and there! Behold—what's? Gah, ants! Swarming up my ankles, and me without socks today!
unleashes holy destruction upon the ant colony in the form of Adams fly spray and diatomaceous earth
diatoms are also invertebrates, for the recordWell, there you have it! Agh—scratches ankles forever Our fellow life forms are truly marvelous and excellent beings that we are blessed to share this earth with! Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to spend 90+ minutes of every Saturday night staying late at work to kill scorpions.
—doctorlit doesn't see species; he judges each invertebrate based on their personal character. Except for silverfish. They can all bite it.

Which are just as badly written and feature vampires among other things. However, I'm not interested in tackling any of them, and I think doing this sort of fics is better suited to the DMO.

Those sequels might be worth reading, but not sporking. Besides, I like reading (some) badfic. If it's funny in its badness, but not squicky.
