I think the idea of collecting everything the PPC has ever gone up against is fascinating, if a little bit mad (but who isn't, around here?). There's no shame involved in reading childrens' books - my mother borrowed my son's Series of Unfortunate Events as he got them, and they've been a big hit on all sides (though I've not read them myself). And you can see for yourself the number of YA authors on various people's lists!

I always kind of wanted to read Valdemar, but only prodded a couple of books (lesse... The Black Gryphon and sequels, followed by Magic's Pawn and sequels). I'm not sure why; maybe they required a bit more emotional investment than I was able to give at the time. ^_^ I don't remember whether I read Goosebumps - there were enough of them in the library that it seems likely!

(I wouldn't worry about Left Behind, either - we all have our vices and false starts. There's a reason my Orson Scott Card books are in a box somewhere.)
