Cruelty is amusing, really. Joy cannot last longer than a chapter, have I said that yet?

Nice to see another newbie signing up here. You're the first fellow fan of Warriors, so if you want to discuss it sometime, feel free to contact me on the wiki. While I'm here, have a fanged duck. It does bite, so be careful when you feed it. I've enclosed a muzzle and leash for your convenience in walking it.
Aww, how cu- OW!
Bad Quakers!
Warriors is (are?) the bomb(s). XP
Welcome newbie, you are one of many. Since you've been lurking for a while I guess I don't have to grill you about reading the Constitution and the Original Series, as I assume that you already have.
I'm happy to see that you have a variety of fandoms, many of which have a large support group in the PPC. Don't worry about Twilight, I've read the series too, just to see what the fuss was about. I wasn't exactly enthralled but everyone has their own tastes.
Anyway, to welcome you aboard I present you with this kitten and a bowl of ramen, as your name has instructed. Have fun!
Aww, two of my favorite things ever! Yay~!
Wait, what kind of ramen? -old man is watching you...type of expression-
Greetings, new friend!
Have a telltale cart! It's great for pushing heavy stuff around! Just, uh, try ignore that rhythmic pounding noise . . .
Now there came to my ears a low, dull noise, such as a the rattling of 'Sue bones in a shallow grave. IT WAS THE CART! -dies-
Five newbies in a little over one week! That must be some kind of record. I used to read Warriors when I was younger, but I feel like each series got progressively worse. I don't really agree with you on Twilight, but I respect your opinion. Plus you like Poe and Shakespeare, so all is forgiven. Since you're a brony/ pegasister, I hereby present you with a unicorn hat complete with mane.
...In reference to the Warriors series. And honestly, anymore I'm only into Twilight for Carlisle. Mmm...
The mane makes it twenty percent cooler. 8D
I will give you a Bleep-based chocolate for future use. Anyway, welcome to the PPC.
Bleep-based chocolate? Sweeeeeet.
Welcome to the Board! Have some of my hydrophobic water to commemorate the event. Fuels nonsenseium engines!
Hey, another WoW fan! Quick question: Alliance or Horde?
Yay WoW!
Well, the majority (five) of my characters are Horde - three blood elves, one troll, and one tauren - and four are Alliance (one human, one night elf, one draenei, and one worgen). If you're asking which side I sympathize more with...more of the Horde have my love. I like the underdogs, and everyone except maybe the orcs and the goblins (depending on how you look at things) qualify as underdogs.
Plus, the Horde as blood elves. So pretty...
No matter what they represent, I almost always side with the humans. Since they're almost always the middle-of-the-road, jack-of-all-trades race, I pick them for versatility.
I have to admit I know far more about StarCraft than Warcraft. There's something about the spacey-wacey setting that I like more than Azeroth.
Here! Have a Shiny Distracting Object to distract you from the fact that I forgot to give you a Newbie Object!
And. And a bottle of essense of cheerful-at-four-in-the-morning, because apparently plotting the deaths of my favorite characters makes me incredibly perky.
OOH! SHINY! -dives for it and knock herself out on the table that was randomly there-
Essence of Cheerful-at-Four-in-the-Morning is my crack. Just like Takis are my alcohol! ^^
I find plotting ways for my favorite characters to die of humiliation cheers me up substantially. LIKE, like, making Varian wear a pink frilly tutu and telling him it's therapeutic to dance in the middle of the Old Town District! -evil cackle-
-gets up with a giant gash in her forehead- Yooou! -points accusingly- Yoooou are just the WORST kind of person!
So...you're just killing them outright?? OH, OH! Does one of them, I don't know, throw him/herself in front of an attack that tears him/her to itty-bitty pieces, but he/she takes the hit because he/she needs to save his/her true love?
My inner romantic can be a twisted little sucker sometimes...
I didn't understand a word of it - not big Bionicles... - but it made my inner romantic do happy cartwheels. Into a tree, mind you, but still. -squee-
Yay for psychotic inner romantics!
Short form: Everyone dies dramatically, and I repeat things that have already happened in canon to tug at people's heartstrings in the most painful way possible.
Indeed. :D
Ooh, so you're toying with your readers, then? Me gusta.
Indubitably!
I don't know about toying with. Except inasmuch as I'll be interspersing the pain with happier scenes, and then reminding them that I'm taking a leaf out of Marvel's book and not letting happiness last more than a chapter. How did I put it again...? Oh, yes. "Grimdark as [expletive deleted]."
-folds over in helpless giggles due to hearing Data say that while wearing a deerstalker cap-
Eh, toying with them, tugging the heartstrings 'til they come loose...same thing, yes?
-throws popcorn at you and giggles when it bounces off-
Those are pretty dang similar.
-starts catching popcorn in her mouth-
I always thought so, anyway. Especially when the reader in question is meee...
Whee! Let's see how many you can catch! -throws a whole handful at once-
Hehehehehe. Being cruel to my readers is something I seriously look forward to doing, wails of anguish are amusing to me but all I've managed to finish to my satisfation are happy ending.
Augh! -catches maybe two or three, the rest fall all over-
I like being cruel to my characters, honestly. You have a boyfriend who you love very much? INTO THE VOLCANO WITH HIM AND YOU BROKE YOUR ARM TRYING TO RESCUE HIM. Bahaha.
Again, bahaha. -throws more-
Cruelty is amusing, really. Joy cannot last longer than a chapter, have I said that yet?
Noooooo! -om nom pelted om nom-
Eh, the idea was there, at least.
Bahaha! -catapults bags of popcorn at you-
Mhmm.
But is the popcorn in the bags or is it just a bag's worth of popcorn?
BOTH! -cackles maniacally, chokes on popcorn kernel and passes out-
Oh no! -wades through mess of popcorn and checks to make sure you're still breathing-
-hauls up and tries to remember how to do the Heimlich manveuver. Via practice.-
(Uhhhh... I have no idea! I haven't actually been on the Wiki as anything but a reader yet.)
That should read OF course I'm not breathing. Eheh.
I wouldn't call your post that long - don't worry!
Also, a hearty welcome to you! Have a beverage of your choice! *Hands KittyNoodles a shiny cup and a bottle of enchanted water.* Simply tell it which drink you want it to be and pour.
Good luck!
-looking at cup- I want to know what liquefied tree tastes like. Make it so!
-takes a swig, winds up in the hospital-
Most of it what people would have asked you anyway, so it's handy to have in one post.
Anyway, welcome on board! Have a fruit salad!
Oh my gosh, I LOVE fruit salads! -dives in, leaving nothing but the bowl-
Hi, have some fudge!
I've got a DVD of Macbeth with Sir Patrick Stewart in the title role making its way to me -- I blew some overtime money over at Amazon. Do you have an opinion on staging Shakespeare in other time periods than the late 1500s-early 1600s?
Lovely to have you here. Have a bag of pebbles and a Random Shiny Object.
Also, we won't kill/be violent at/dislike you for liking Twilight. We respect the right of everyone to enjoy whatever fandoms they like, regardless of our own opinions on them. (Besides, everyone needs a few guilty pleasures. :P )
I do approve of your love of Lord of the Rings, though; that's my oldest fandom and probably my most beloved. :P
Im'ma throw the pebbles in a vase and make it a fishbowl.
And can I sell Random Shiny Object for a decent profit, or is it mine to stare at obses-- oh, it IS shiny!
Twilight is DEFINITELY a guilty pleasure - especially now that I've begun to realize how flawed it is as a whole! -laughs-
Lord of the Rings makes me simultaneously happy and depressed - I want to liiiiiive there...
