I just finished reading Night Watch. 'Twas glorious indeed. Also, I didn't know about it being the anniversary of Star Wars IV. I guess you really do learn something new every day.

I had to make do with a vaguely lilac shirt. But I got my towel and my tiny lighsaber keychain.

*Will be listening to the Imperial March all day on her iPod.*

Sadly, the lilacs near my house have stopped blooming. Curse you, global warming! But I'm wearing a purple shirt that's kinda close to a lilac's color.

I always forget my towel. It's in the bathroom, though, so it's ready to grab.

Happy geek pride today. I wore a Star Wars shirt with a lilac (or as close as I could get) over shirt and always knew where my towel was!

Alas, the lilacs are always gone by now over here. Someday I'll invest in some fake ones so I can bring them out and wear them.

At least I know where my towel is, though. *nod*

~Neshomeh, celebrating her ninth Glorious 25th since joining the PPC.

Because people kept giving me odd looks. My friends get it though, even though they all forgot theirs. and I have no access to a lilac plant so I've had to make do with a drawing.

My friends and I have always celebrated towel day on the 31st, mostly because we are girls scouts. We get a lot of strange looks, marching in the Memorial day parade holding towels.

Although apparently, people give you odd looks for taking a towel into a high school. It's now in my bag for safe keeping.

I have my towel! That I am also going to a theme park today has no bearing on that...
