One of my response centers is an RC in teh Department of Implausible Crossovers, and I've never seen a fused mini like what's mentioned in HFA, so I have never seen one...

I thought in crossovers the mini depended on whatever name was misspelled. For example, if it was a Harry Potter and LotR fic and it was Harry's name misspelled it would be a mini-Acromantula but if it was Frodo's name misspelled it would be a mini-Balrog.
