I thought in crossovers the mini depended on whatever name was misspelled. For example, if it was a Harry Potter and LotR fic and it was Harry's name misspelled it would be a mini-Acromantula but if it was Frodo's name misspelled it would be a mini-Balrog.
1: Do minis apear with capitalization errors? (aragorn vs. Aragorn)
2: Is there a Naruto mini? There isn't one on the wiki page for minis.

From what my journeys through Google and zerochan tell me, it's a kitsune-like thing (nine-tailed fox demon).

Also, HFA mentions fused minis from crossovers. Have you seen those?
One of my response centers is an RC in teh Department of Implausible Crossovers, and I've never seen a fused mini like what's mentioned in HFA, so I have never seen one...
