I hope you have a great time here, and feel free to ramble! We do that a lot. :D
Have a bag of pebbles and a Random Shiny Object, as they are both useful and fun. And I sympathise with the writing - sometimes it's hard to keep a piece of work going.
Well I stumbled onto the PPC through TV Tropes, and after reading through the Original Series and bouncing around the wiki for a couple of days I thought I'd come over here and introduce myself.
Reading (mostly Sci Fi and Fantasy) has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember, and several years ago I started writing an original work, which a couple of years ago basically collapsed under its own weight. Recently I thought about doing some short stories to try and ease my way back into writing, and the PPC seems like a brilliant place to do that; I just love the concept of Agents going in a fixing the problems badfic can cause. My first foray into 'the Pit' has left me with a healthy respect for what that stuff can do to your brain.
My fanons are far, far to numerous to list (partly because I feel that I've rambled enough already, mostly because I doubt I could list them all from memory anyway. Picking a few at random; Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time, Old Kingdon/Abhorsen, Ghost in the Shell, Star Wars and James Bond.
So, yeah... hello everyone *waves*

Oh, wait, no, if I say that the assassins will be after me for having a CAF (cute animal friend).
Yeah it could probably manage some Enya, and I wouldn't have thought you'd have too much to worry about from the assassins (unless you've been meddling - I hear they are heavily armed and quick to anger).
From the little browsing I've done there are going to be far higher priority targets than a Boarder with a CAF. I've just found a Trigun piece with 8 OCs, all of whom look like they're going to be Sues or Stus, with major villains randomly resurrected for no more reason than having them fall for the OCs. I'm thinking about using it for my first mission, assuming it doesn't melt my brain first.
Potentially fun, too.

And it's positively overflowing with alliteration! This looks like a magnificent weapon.
Ouch! It's very sharp; I'll have to be more careful with it in the future. Can't wait to try it out on my first Sue.

Now that I think about it, 'violining' may not be a real word... *shrugs*
Just noticed that I used 'fanons' instead of 'fandoms', and the wrong kind of 'to', and both of those in the same sentence as well. I'll try to do a more thorough proof-read before posting next time.

Shiny things are useful (and shiny - which may or may not be redundant). Would you like a super-bouncy ball? Guaranteed* not to cause any property damage or personal injury whatsoever.
Sounds like you've had to discard projects in the past, it's always a shame. I'm hoping that I'll be able to rescue it, or at least salvage some of the characters etc., but I need to start with a slightly smaller scale project before tackling that one again. Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm writing missions!

I like it! I just so happen to have a spare pair of Cool Shades that I can give in return, if you're interested. You can't change the style, but you can alter their colour by tapping them against things.
