I'm not sure how he'd be at pulling off the, the broodiness, though. The Doctor does have a tendency to angst upon occasion.

I'd like to see Idris Elba take the part, although a friend of mine made a convincing case for Tilda Swinton.
I'm not sure who will be the next doctor, but I would like to see Jethro Cane returning as a companion for the 12th.
I vote that hS should be the next Doctor.

...although Time Lords don't always regenerate looking human...and we've established, at least in the PPC, that the Elves come from a planet the Doctor knows about...hm.
My vote's for Misha Collins. What can I say, someone made amazing gifs of it, and it looks good. (Also, can't you just picture how much insanity he'd bring to the role? Only we'd lose him as Castiel, so maybe that's a bad idea...and he's not British, either, which might pose a slight problem.)
