Glee used to be a good show, but now it just sucks. The outright worship of some characters (i.e. Rachel and Kurt) and the outright ignoring of others (i.e. Tina and Artie) drove me away, as did Glee's refusal to have any songs on it that aren't either mainstream pop, mainstream rock, mainstream hip hop or classical theatre.

I used to enjoy it, but don't any longer. I don't appreciate girls/guys falling in and out of love with just about everything that moves and breathes half a dozen times in two years.
Sorry.
The singing's still fabulous, though, I imagine.

There isn't really any mass shared mind on most fandoms in general in the PPC, so opinions vary.
I personally can't stand Glee, because it's very much a race to the bottom in terms of 'let's make all of these characters as generally unappealingly manipulative and amoral as possible and heap as many cringe inducing moments in as possible between musical numbers'.

No idea. You see, the PPC is a construct that is made up of people. These people have varying thoughts on topics. It is not often that everyone in the PPC agrees that a particular canon is either good or bad. Cases have even been made for Twilight being decent, on occasion.
As for Glee, I don't mind it, myself. The stories are decent, and the songs, though over-processed, can also be enjoyable.
If it is one of the canons you enjoy, then be glad that the fanfic is decent. I wish more continua could be like that.
