Okay, I've been working on the Writing Sample portion of my Permission request on and off for quite a while now, but I finally think I've got it done.
I just need someone to look it over, since I... don't have that much faith in my writing skills...
Anyway, here's the link, though I'm not sure of the ettiquete for Beta-ing requests:

Your RC number has the last three digits of the RC number I was thinking of using! It'll be a long time before I have permission, so there is a very good chance I’ll end up changing it, (especially if you chose it for the same reason I chose it) but seriously, what are the chances of that? Are you by chance an animation/Pixar fan? :D
As for needing a beta, I've never beta-ed anything before, and I've only started seriously writing in about the last 6 months or so; but I think your example was great. You managed to get both back-stories and descriptions in in a way that didn't slow down or clog the narrative, and it was short, sweet and to the point, which is exactly how I think an introduction should be. Also, I liked the short bit with the SO. XD I don’t think it needs to be changed or anything, but you might want to be a second opinion, just in case. c:
Huh, weird. I don't remember why I chose that particular number, I guess I just picked one that sounded good.
Anyway, thanks for the look-over, and yes, I am an animation fan...
As an ineperienced Google.docs user, I've run into a problem with document privacy. Any tips?
Also, If I do get permission, where should I put up my writings? I was thinking maybe LiveJournal...
You can change the settings on them by going to "sharing" and selecting how private you want your documents to be. It's actually pretty easy.
As for where you put your missions up, it's your choice. I personally use LJ, 'cause I'm used to it, but there're people here who just link to the GoogleDoc and leave it at that.
people posting their missions as Google Docs. I rarely read them. My preferred browser and Google Docs don't seem to work well together, that's one problem. Another is that with Google Docs I always have the feeling I'm not reading the finished product. LJ or any other such website just looks better. (Plus those can be found by google when someone is searching for PPC missions.)
While I have begun reading stories on Google docs, I've never gotten completely through them. It always feels unfinished and a little unprofessional. No, that's not the right word. It feels...less official, I guess? I keep thinking I'm looking at someone's work-in-progress, not a finished, polished story. If that makes any sense. The stories are very well-written and engaging, but I just can't seem to pay attention long enough to finish. :/
Well this is a writing sample. Writing samples don't have to be finished/public works.
What browser do you use that google docs works poorly with?

I think I've figured out the settings on Google Docs. And maybe I'll post missions on LiveJournal (though that'll probably all I'll use it for- and if I do put them on another site, it'll have to be one that doesn't focus too much on writing code)
SO yeah, thanks for the tips. Anyone feel like Beta-ing?
I left some comments on the document for you to chew. Just some niggling things - nothing that would stop you from getting permission, I think.
Thanks for the lookover. I'm thinking of doing some touch-ups based on your suggestions, if that's all right with you...
It's your writing sample and your permission request! Go crazy!
