I had no idea this was happening, but I wish Phobos and Neshomeh the very best!
by Agent T. Monk
ALMA, MI (IRL) -- Although a sprinkling of light rain threatened a potential crisis, the real-world wedding of PPC operatives Phobos and Neshomeh was, in blatant defiance of the Universal Laws of Comedy and Irony, not blighted by disaster or allegedly hilarious hijinks.
The two operatives, known to PPCers for Neshomeh's devoted service to the organization and Phobos' unholy glee in participating in the badfic game, were married at the chapel of the college of Alma in a simple ceremony that was not crashed by anyone. Phobos and his groomsmen sported formal kilts, while the bride wore trailing white accented with a sash in correction-ink red. (This reporter may have teared up a little when she saw Neshomeh walking down the aisle, but you didn't hear it from her. Stop looking at her like that.) Rings were exchanged, and the new Mr. and Mrs. Phobos were played out by a piano medley that included, among other things, the Star Wars imperial march.
We cannot confirm or deny a Flower presence at the reception, which was held in a college hall next to the chapel, but it should be noted that despite the heat the bride's bouquet was looking suspiciously fresh and lively.
The alarming trend of heartwarming non-disaster was continued at the reception, where the bride and groom shared dances with their loved ones and did, as far as this reporter can tell, both the Cha Cha Slide and the Hokey-Pokey. Another form of potentially hilarious crisis was averted via a clever scheme; knowing the wedding tradition of chiming glasses to force the bride and groom to kiss, the reception's DJ announced that every time the assembled party tried to do that, he would draw the name of another couple in the room and force them to "show the bride and groom how it's done." This prevented too many spontaneous attempts at inducing kissing and only added to the agreeable, lighthearted and completely non-ironic air of the occasion. This reporter caught the bouquet.
Photographs will be provided when this reporter's camera stops being an ass, which is unfortunately a rare occasion indeed.
Congratulations, Phobos and Neshomeh! May Eru smile upon you. Also, please don't kill me for writing this. *hides*
Many, many happy returns, Phobos and Neshomeh, and hoping this will just be the beginning of many happy years together.
Elcalion, festive
A rather belated congratulations from me as well.
May you have a long, prosperous marriage and a happy honeymoon. ^_^
Yes, may Eru smile on them. :)
A lovely occasion for two truly lovely people. May disaster continue to neglect to strike. :-)
Congratulations! I wish you both a long, happy, and grammatically correct marriage.
Thank you all for the blessings and wishes of good fortune. We really appreciate it.
Also, Tungsten Monk, good article, though there were some mistakes. It was not the Imperial March, though various other Star Wars pieces were included. And the Hokey-Pokey never occurred. Instead, we did the Electric Slide.
We look forward to the pictures, as we are sure the rest of the Board does, too.
-Mr and Mrs Phobos (though Neshomeh objects to being a Mrs, on the grounds that she is too young for that sort of thing)
I really did think it was the Imperial March. And secondly, you provided me with both sugar and shiny things, which means my judgment and memory have been questionable to say the least.
Enjoy the honeymoon! ;)
I hereby name your punishment to be...THE COMFY CHAIR!
And if you keep it up, I will be forced to deploy...THE SOFT PILLOWS!
We were informed in no uncertain terms by our friend the Carbonated Beverage Drinking Man that there were, in fact, crashers at the wedding. I mean, I know I never got an invitation or sent an RSVP, and I'm pretty sure Phobos didn't, either.

Yay! *pours the champagne*
祝你們好運,幸福,快樂!Which literally translates to 'Be blessed with good fortune, luck, and happiness'!

Many Blessings for both of you! (cue the Overture from "The Marriage of Figaro")
I had no idea this was happening, but I wish Phobos and Neshomeh the very best!
Non-disasters are always fun for a break from regular life. But seriously, congratulations! May you have a happy marriage!
Many returns to the happy couple... whatever that means.
Now to find some rice to throw...
*bows* I'm really happy for you! :D
LOLing at the glass-chiming thing.
The report is funny, cute and awesome, and the news is just cute and awesome. ^____^
Congratulations to Phobos and Neshomeh~!
Congratulations you two! Granted, I didn't even know it was happening until I checked in this morning, but still, congratulations!
May you two have a happy life ahead of you, and many, MANY glorious sporkings hereafter. =D
All the best wishes!
And what a wonderful report from the wedding.
Unfortunately, since my agent (out sooner or later) appears to be a manifestation of my inner shipper, she may have already added Phobos/Neshomeh to her OTP list.
That is... if she could be bothered to give a hoot about Real-Person stuff. I think the happy couple are off the hook
Anyway, Congratulations. We haven't had a wedding around here since... um, what decade is this again?
Whoo! I'm so glad to hear it. Take THAT, Laws of Narrative Comedy! :D
May you forever be happy.
And may your marriage be continually happy for many years to come!
and may the happy couple remain a happy couple for many a year.
A Mark IV K-9 for the both of you!
Let there be much celebrations and merriment all around! Let trumpets sound out in celebration! Let there be dancing in the streets, drinking in the saloons, and necking in the parlor!
