They have a veterinary ward, right? And Medical has to be ready for anything, since so much weird stuff happens in fics. I bet they have something that can remove those drugs.
Though really, I have no idea what a bear with withdrawal symptoms would be like. Could be trouble.
with this Kodiak bear in the mission that I'm currently writing? It's drugged with various substances, including hallucinogens, sedatives, and other things. I'm tempted to just leave it in a wildlife preservation, but I'm worried about leaving it drugged up. Any suggestions?
If it's drugged up enough, it may even let the kids ride on it. Glod knows I wanted to ride on a bear when I was younger.
Then again, my first bee sting was from petting the bee, so maybe not.

A zoo may have more experience dealing with bears that have been treated badly. For instance, in Eastern Europe dancing bears were a circus attraction. Bears were abused to get them to dance.
In zoo that has such bears may also know how to deal with a drugged up Kodiak bear. Perhaps they can keep it separate from other bears while it goes cold turkey.
Not sure which one, though.
This is its home fic, and it got drugged up because of some poachers who wanted to hunt it.
A zoo that has Kodiak bears should have a vet on staff that can handle their health issues. Treating the sedative overdose shouldn't be a problem, they've got to be prepped for a goof with the trank guns. The hallucinogens are what's worrying me. For that, you pretty much need the best bear vet around, and I have no idea where you'd find him/her.
Probably tastes better than what's available in the cafeteria.
