Huh. I had double line breaks and indents in the Google docs version, but I guess they didn't carry over to Dreamwidth.

So, after more than a year, I think I'm finally ready to request Permission. And an RC.
My writing sample. There's another thingie up there too, but I wouldn't count it as an example of my writing.
Agent Bios:
Name: Ecks
Age: 26
Species: Human
Home Continuum: Shadowrun
Department: Department of Floaters
Division: n/a
Partner: Zee
Fandom(s): Mass Effect, The Dresden Files, Dragaera, Georgia Romero's "Dead" movies, Zombieland, Kamen Rider, Power Rangers, Ultraman, Firefly, multiple Pen & Paper RPGs
Lust-object(s): Sethra Levode, Zoe Washburn
Favorite(s): Money, guns, cheap booze, good food, cheesy b-flicks
Weapon(s): Defiance T-250 Shotgun and/or a combat knife
Ecks is a former Shadowrunner who fell through a plothole when his writer continued the story with the rest of his team, but forgot all about him. Fortunately for him, the plothole lead to the RC of the man who would soon become his partner Agent. Ecks is still rather new to the PPC, and has to adjust to not only charging people before killing them, but also the massive amounts of squick that a PPC agent encounters. Mostly he adjusts to the squick with more bleepka than is probably healthy.
Name: Zee
Age: 37
Species: Human
Home Continuum: Marvel Ultimates Universe
Department: Department of Floaters
Division: n/a
Partner: Ecks
Fandom(s): Marvel comics, movies, and cartoons, DC comics, Zombieland, Firefly, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Tekken, System Shock, an ever-growing list of anime and video games
Lust-object(s): Harley Quinn
Favorite(s): Coffee, reading,
Weapon(s): Morningstar, Crossbow
Zee is an old hand with the PPC, having joined years back after the massive amounts of plotholes in Ultimatum scattered many bit parts and b-list heroes to the multiverse. Zee spent most of his early career as part of the DBS, and as a result he has grown highly resistant to squick, which only serves to irritate Ecks even further when they are dealing with squick. Where Ecks is mildly hyper, and definitely the comic relief of the pair, Zee is more business-like and usually acts as the straight man.
They will be occupying RC #231, or @#! as it says on the door, due to a typo that has yet to be corrected.
I like the writing sample quite a bit, and I'd be interested to read about the team's exploits. Let me know when you update. {= )
One word of advice, though: use double–line breaks between paragraphs. Without indents, it can be hard to track where one ends and another begins without them. I also stumbled a bit over the description of "Frost" as an unlikely name, because plenty of people have Frost as a surname, but then I realized you meant it as his only name.
Anywho, welcome to PPC writing. Enjoy!
