This doesn't look like it's authorized. It does look more like the Dawn/dusk scenario, where the author just decides to post a small unauthorized spinoff on ff.net and the ff.net people let it slide. -

When seen on first sight, it's hard to tell because people that don't have Permission will still credit Jay and Acacia.

That issue has been resolved; the author has put up a disclaimer for us. Either Neshomeh or I are going to update that wiki article... well, soon, and since I have a spare minute it might as well be now. 'Scuse me...

Anyway, since I started babbling here anyway, let me just say that since the problem is now solved, it'd be polite not to use it as an example. You couldn't know that, of course, but I'm just saying it :)
