That was really the only part of the plot that bugged me, and it was just because, well, headtiltingly weird crack pairing. But everybody's pretty much in-character, and it isn't even boring, so I'll just go move it off the claimed badfic list.
So back before I got permission, I claimed a Young Wizards badfic named Spark, which had the Lone Power fall in love with Nita Callahan. But it got taken down and rehauled and actually seems a lot better now. The thing I want to know is, is the Lone Power falling in love with a split of Nita's consciousness enough to qualify it as badfic or is it just headtiltingly weird?

To be fair I would say there is only one real question. Does the fi make you long to put your head in a blender? If it does PPC the lemon juice out of it.
By that I mean: it actually sounds like an interesting plot. Like falling in love with a ghost.
If you're only gripe is that you wouldn't have come up with a story like that, it's probably not badfic.
