I'm asking why I don't. Although, in hindsight, I don't think I want to know the answer, because it probably (read; definitely) has something to do with me being fairly (read; extremely) new at this whole 'inter-webs' business...
Some of you may recognize me - likely only the ones that frequent the IRC. I'm mostly a fixture there.
I am suddenly posting here because I have been struck by the spontaneous desire to ask for permission (I even have 2 agents in mind and a couple of fics I might mission), but I realize that a significant hurdle may be that I am virtually unknown on the board proper.
I'm going to try to lurk around and perhaps make a stealth post now and then while I fully equate myself with the 10 or so links on the Permissions page of the wiki (of which I note many broken or incomplete links), so that by the time I officially make a claim, maybe I won't get anyone saying "who are you?"

By the way, I know that this is useless, but what fandom are those two fics from?

I don't have an Encyclopedic knowledge of too many fandoms, but I have a pretty good memory for detail (and I do have the internet at my fingertips!) along with fingers in alot of fandoms.
On a whim, my friend asked me to look up some ridiculous Crosswovers, upon which I stumbled upon which I found this crossover between Trigun and House M.D.:

Another fic that I found while I perusing the Advance Wars fandom (which I actually have a story I'm writing in) was The Rise of Red Lightning (<a href="http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5836772/1/TheRiseofRedLightning">http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5836772/1/TheRiseofRed_Lightning) which is an OC /nation/ that the fic writer added that comes from /outer space/ to fight Wars world. It wouldn't be so bad if any one of the characters from Red Lightning didn't get more characterization than the rest of the canon characters combined.
