While I've been lurking, I've read a little of your stuff, and it's quite good. It's nice to actually meet you. Sort of.
Thank you for the gifts, I will treasure them both.
I say "sort of" because, though I am technically a newbie, I have been lurking for some time (three years, to be precise), so I know how this goes. Please consider this the start of my initiation month.
Let's see ... What should you know about me? Well, English is my second language, and sometimes I do slip, so if I do make any "amusing" grammar or spelling mistakes, please tell me, but also please don't bash me on the head with it, okay? Alright. (I'm sure this isn't really necessary, but I'm just reminding everybody)
Uh, what else ... Well, there is probably a lot I didn't put here that I should, but I really can't think of what ... Oh, well, I'm sure you'll all tell me if I screw up.

French, since you ask. I was born in America, and my father was American, but my mother spoke only French, so that's what we spoke around the house. Now though, we speak English, and actually my French is pretty rusty. But, I still have the accent, and if I talk too fast I still have grammar errors, so I generally go over anything I write compulsively in case I start to sound 'foreign' (which, in less enlightened parts of the Internet, is simply a fancy way of saying 'stupid'.)
So...my life in a nutshell...Yeah...I'm going to stop talking now.

(Damned American accent. Supposedly, in exchange for being unable to pronounce words like "arbre" and "!Kung", I get "th", but I only got the voiced kind. I should get a refund.)
Have a Paranoiac's Friend (tm) Mark VII camera! It runs for over three weeks without recharging and has a complicated shut-off sequence so people can't turn it off*! Now with thumbtack attachment for bugging places, people, and other nouns! Paranoiac's Friend: for the paranoiac in all of us!
(*Including, probably, you. Good luck with that.)
At least, according to some of the girls I know. I still haven't managed to get the hang of them, though.

Well, first off has to be Pratchett, but I'll read whatever fantasy or sci-fi I can get my hands on. I also like graphic novels, Alan Moore or Neil Gaiman for preference. I love watching MST3K and a whole slew of cop shows too numerous to mention. I've dabbled in anime (Code Geass for preference) and in gaming (I liked Diablo, but since then I haven't bought or played anything much).
Umm...I think that about covers it, really. Anything you think I forgot to mention?
