Hiya! I'm new here, usually go by Something Blue, and have a friend Hoshi who will hopefully shortly be joining me here.
I like Warriors, the Dresden Files, Discworld, (new) Doctor Who, Harry Potter and assorted other continua.
So. Yeah.
Have a generic book of your choice.
If I keep it generic, can it turn into something at a later date?
It's about the size of a regular knife, and is around the same weight. Make sure to use it for the good of canon everywhere.
Thanks!

*dons hat* *examines self* *takes off hat and sticks in a pocket*
Do not feed it Sues or Stus.
I will not. I *like* felines.
Have a folding car. It becomes a rather heavy case when not in use. However, do not put it near fragile objects. The flding mechanism is faulty. As nearly all the tech here.
May I take that to mean that it's suddenly going to expand and become a car when I'm not looking?
May I ask, new series or old?
Anyway, have a pet cat and a Pie of Rassilon. You may name the pie whatever you wish, and eat the cat. No, that's not right...
New series. Possible reasons are that a) it's the only one on Netflix Watch Online, b) it has Ten in it, or c) I just like it better.
I will call the cat... Green.
Have some Bleepermint Bark! It's made with Bleepolate (chocolate and Bleeprin) and crushed up candy canes. (If you're an avian or cannot have chocolate, sorry. I might be able to come up with a substitute.)
Ooh! Thanks! I -can- have chocolate, but it's probably a bad idea, it makes me ridiculously hyper and I'd rather not be incoherent or blowing stuff up. *sticks the Bark in her pocket. In a plastic bag, mind you, she's not making that mistake again*
Save it. You never know when that might come in handy...
Suggestion duly noted and followed. Good idea.
*pokes bobblehead* I found an Einstein one of these in the bottom of a creek at a science lab once. Still not sure how it got there.
I've read a couple of those, but thanks for the others. *begins reading avidly*
Welcome, new friend! Have something old, something new, and something borrowed!
Heh. Thanks. Y'know, if you ignore the fact that about half of them are bloodthirsty, insane assassins, PPCers seem to be quite nice.
*grins* Thanks!
Hello, and welcome to the PPC! I hereby bestow upon you three things:
A large plushie Companion Cube (guaranteed not to stab you and which you don't have to incinerate in an Aperture Science Emergency Intelligence Incinerator), a Bag of Near-Infinite Holding, and a Frying Pan of Doomtm. May they serve you well.
*grins, hugs plushie, transfers tall ship into Bag*
You're the first to know where that came from. ^^
I have to read more stuff set in that world. The author's pretty awesome. Although some of the stuff in that Tales of Enchantment book creeps me out.
but the Frying Pan of Doom stuck with me.
It was a great concept. Also it turned people into giant hard-boiled eggs, which is a plus.

...Huh. Clearly I've got to re-read this story.
Here you have a baloon. It's red so goes with you!
*tilts head* Red goes with blue? I guess it does, hmm. *ties balloon string around wrist*
Welcome to the Board! Here, have some chocolate, and enjoy your stay!
Heya, person-who-is-slightly-newer-than-me! Have a stylish bowler!
Thank you also. *dons hat, gives Whin an umbrella in return*
Fair winds!
Now you can throw BBQs!
Thank you. *shoves ship into pocket of hammerspace* Is it customary to give people sailing ships when they show up?
I happen to be giving tall ships. Be careful, they are sentient.
Tall ships. And always from the same person.
Have some cookies? And a bit of C4, from my new stash. Ran out of plastique when we had a bunch of newbies for a while, I'm afraid, but now I'm restocked! Yay!
Whee! Explosives! Sugar!
I'm glad you like them! ;)
*runs around on a sugar rush eating chocolate and blowing up stuff, loudly humming*
