What's the SCP?
so, I was watching some SCP at SCP Foundation Wiki, whem I found a rather strange one:
SCP-732 Nickname: The Fan-Fic Plague
link:
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-732
I only have one question: does this subject was sent to the SCP by a PPC Agent?
What's the SCP?
Well, wait, let me back this up. SCP is an online organization that creates things called SCP's. They are all based off this creepypasta found called SCP 173 . That was it, nothing more. Then people thought, well, what else can we do with this. And so the community began.
Most people know the SCP Foundation through SCP: Containment Breach, a horror game that is similar to Slender, except actually scary. If you want to learn more about SCP, just take a look at their website.
Just don't read about any of the particularly scary SCPs (such as SCP 140) before you go to bed like I did. It's kinda not helpful for a good night's sleep.
Don't worry, though, his penname fooled me too.
(It's derived from the Yugioh card Des Dendle, if I recall correctly)
The SCP Foundation, especially in its early days, was plagued by Mary Sues masquerading as SCP objects. People wised up, listed some of the more flagrant ones in "decommissioned" and tried to let it go. Sues still come in every once in a while, though, messing with SCP material and using poor spelling, and eventually someone made SCP-732 for meta-humor.
See the former SCP-048 and the former SCP-809 for really bad former SCP Sues. Yeah. It used to be that bad.
okay, thanks for explaining for me.
