Hello, agents of the PPC, I'm posting here to say hello and introduce myself. I'm TheLowtide (any nickname you like's fine), and I've been a lurker on the Wiki since about July. I first heard about the PPC when I stumbled upon a link to one of Troije's missions, and after looking it up on TvTropes I read the original series and started reading a bunch of the spin-offs.
There isn't a particular genre of story that I dislike, but I will admit that I've got a real big soft spot for femslash. I tend to root for the villain of a story more then the hero, but that only goes 'til he loses redeeming value as a character. Yet, whenever I play a game with a morality meter, I keep ending up as good, so I'm not completely sure what my fascination with the bad guys come from.
My fandoms of choice are: Negima, Bleach, Chobits, Gravitation, When they Cry, LoTR, Harry Potter, The older Artemis Fowl books (Last one I read was The Lost Colony, got no clue if there's any after that), Dune, Narnia (Bookverse only, never got around to watching Prince Caspian), Personas 3 and 4, and my personal favorite semi-obscure series, Disgaea. I should probably stress that I really, REALLY like Disgaea. A lot. I'm one of those pitiable, pretty much fanatical souls who's spent over a thousand hours on those games, and will probably continue to spend even more time on them in the future.
So, that's my introduction. If there's anything you lot want to talk about, just say something and I'll be right there. So, here's a preemptive 'Nice to meet'cha!' -

I know exactly what that's like. When I go for a fandom, I too go all the way, so to speak. And like you, I never grow tired of it, which pleases me just fine.
Pleased to meet you, and have some semi-sentient cookies! Careful, they may bite back. -

I do my best to expand my horizons whenever I can. My biggest regret is that I haven't the resources to expand them too rapidly. Heh, if I did I'd have Discworld up there as well, but I've only been able to read Wintersmith at my local library. As for the chocolate...
Man, I heard that stuff was rare around here, I'm going to have to buy a mini fridge and ration it carefully. Either that or trade it off for a good spear. Thanks for the gifts! -

I've heard about a lot more Urple around HQ then Blello, so Some variety is in order. Awesome frying pan, I could make some great doom-flavored bacon with that!

Hiya! I'm Rosie!
Have a cupcake and a Pidgin! The cupcake is delicious, and the Pidgin works as an emergency-universal-translator-slash-message-carrier! It is mildly intelligent, and can translate almost any language! Unfortunately, it only translates into Fanbrat, so use with care. They are also freakishly hard to kill, so don't worry about letting any other pet you might have chew on it every once in a while... But this also means you can't stop the Fanbrat-speech... -

When they get talking, I've never seen one pause for breath, so I'm not sure they actually breathe through the same things they speak with. You might try drowning it... Or perhaps incinerating it would work. *shrugs*

Welcome, new friend! Have an authentic Chuck Norris chin hair! Don't take it out of the titanium case, though; holding in in your bare hand will cause it to cut into your flesh. Also, don't keep the hair on your person for extended periods of time, because it is slightly radioactive and has a tendency to attract amorous male wildcats.

9th Blue Mage, I'm just as surprised as you are to see another Disgaea fan. It's s small shame that you don't own them yourself, but I'm sure that, if nothing else, you'll get your chance in time, what with the 4th game coming out next year and all. In the meantime, I can suggest a fic or two.
Cassie, thank you for the ShinyShiney, I will guard it jealously and fervently 'til the end of days.
Now, if you'll excuse me for a second, I've gotta go set up arrangements for the cheetah, cat, and Hell Butterfly. -

Too bad you don't own any of the games, but don't fret. At the very least, you can pick up the 4th game when it comes out next year.

Wow, I never knew that a fourth game was already announced. I wonder when it's plot would be revealed... Anyway, although I do like the series...whenever I try to memorize the gameplay, though, I feel like my head's spinning from pressure. I'm just afraid that I'll mess up badly at it.
By the way, have any favorite characters? Currently mine's Flonne and, for some unexplained reason, the prinny species. -
Favorites? by

Well, that's pretty easy. Favorite Main characters; Etna, Yukimaru, and Princess Sapphire.
Favorite generic class: Masked Heroes, Samurai, and Thieves.
As for the 4th, they actually just announced it last month, and they've got a trailer up. They're really loading up on the features, including updated sprite textures (Finally!) and online play. Here, I've even got a link to the trailer so you can see for yourself.

The trailer looks very neatly and insanely great at the same time. Especially the actions that characters can do when they stack on top of each other: It looks crazy!
Anyway, the new textures look really nicer then the preious games, and I hope the online play's a good addition (and hopes that it will be handled very carefully)...
Man, I've just only found out about the 4th game's announcement, and I already can't wait until it comes out! -
