Don't mean to rush you when you're already doing me a huge favour, but just wanted to check you'd got it - I'm always afraid I've made a typo in the address and just sent my E-mail off into the uncharted wastes of cyberspace when E-mailing someone for the first time.
So... pretty much what it says - I need a beta reader for my first mission. It's for a Lord of the Rings Action/Adventure fic. The original fic is very violent and graphic, but the mission isn't. I'd love it if someone could check it over and let me know whether or not it's funny and whether the plot makes any sense at all before I post it up for everyone to see. Also maybe a skim for SPAG, though I have checked it.

as well as general plot flow and whatnot. Like Miah, I don't have encyclopedic knowledge of LOTR, especially outside of the trilogy, but I'd be more than willing to help with what I do know.
The main SPAG I think I need is just a check to see if I've missed something, and for LotR knowledge, the only thing I'm unsure about is my characterisation of Elrond. If you could look it over, though, that would be great.

check for basic storyline and content, though not at all for SPAG, and I'm no good for verifying details of anything ultra specific to LotR (especially anything outside the trilogy).
The main thing I'd need verifying as far as LotR canon goes is my characterisation of Elrond.
Should I E-mail it over?
