I just re-read my post and read some more of the PPC wiki, and I saw a grammar mistake and I didn't know that being a fangirl was a bad thing. I am not off to a good start here.

I was wondering if I could ask a question. I am interested in joining the board. I don't know much about Lord of the Rings, but I can never hate a genius piece of literature.
I hope that fact won't be a problem.~ I heard from my brother that there are a lot of amazing people here. I can't wait to meet you all. hahaha...

Nice to meet you :) As I'm guessing the others have probably said, not knowing Lord of the Rings is hardly going to disqualify you from joining our little community, though you may miss out on some jokes and meaningful details as you read the Original Series.

One of the things we do on the Board is keep to one name only. If you are the same person, at this early point in the game, you can probably announce a change in the name you are going to go by. The original is sort of a mouth full, but please let us know if you are Michilovesyoulots and if you are officially changing your name.

Lord of the Rings is very detailed and sometimes it really intimidates me. xD I have a friend who is a fan. He literally translates a lot of things I can't understand for me. And really? So anything I don't respect is hate...? D:
LOTR is often in need of translation, as I find frequently. XD
And nooo, I didn't mean what I said about respect that way. Just that having respect for good writing (a highly subjective topic at the best of times) is appreciated. But mostly we just like to have fun with it.
