Fair winds!
Well, I can't actually remember how I discovered all this, but it's nice here and smells of pleasant pine freshness. I read the original stuff a while back, loved it, read the DoWTF, loved that. Now I'm following it up and MAKING MYSELF KNOWN... Sorry. Hello everyone.
Fair winds!
Seriously, this is the nicest welcome I've ever had. My parents weren't this nice to me when I was born. You're all such lovely people! *explodes*
We want all newbies to feel welcome enough to stay to become oldbies. But I know what you mean; I remember feeling giddy for two days after my welcome thread. Makes for a nice comminuty.
Have a glass paperweight shaped like an artichoke. Sorry, no clockwork inside.
i'll gie you a gun. Good for killing Sues and threatening the mad people here if they get dangerous.
Hello and Welcome to the PPC Posting Board! Here, have some chocolate, and enjoy your stay!
Seriously, that is an awesome username. Have a pet cat. You may name him whatever you wish.
A welcoming hug *hugs* and I heard the bumper stickers are somewhere back there. *motions behind her*
Anyway... I don't have crazy things to give like other people, so I will simply wish you the best here, have fun, leave your sanity in the designated area, and welcome newbie.
But maybe I will come up with something...
Do be aware that we like shiny, new things and you might be glomped on occasion.
Please enjoy this riding lawnmower as a welcoming present.
Welcome, fellow food-named person! I hereby bestow upon you a Frying Pan of DoomTM, a plate of brownies, and a Bag of Holding, compliments of Agents Ian and Lee of RC 6237. Feel free to drop by and chat with them if you like.
Feed it only Generic Meat.
Welcome to the Board. Please deposit your sanity in the provided receptacle. *indicates bucket marked "Warg Fodder"* You shan't need it here. Also, here's some lemon butter. Yummy yummy lemon butter.
Welcome to the Board and all its attendant insanity.
Have a bag of pebbles and a Random Shiny Object. They may come in handy!
Have a stuffed panda that eats, shoots and leaves.
Obscure (or not) reference aside, that's pretty impressive for a stuffed animal.
Not to mention a pretty badass panda.
It has sunglasses now. No idea where they came from.
But whatever the canon is, I want to know... Tell please?
Eats, shoots and leaves is a fantastic book on the proper use of punctuation. There's a panda involved. Oh yes.

They love to spread the joy (and possible consequence of violence) of punctuation.
*Sniffs* Pine freshness? Blegh! Sorry about that. Don't worry, I'll figure out what's causing that smell. In the meantime, take this!
*Hands over an air freshener shaped like a skunk*
Ah, that's much better.
Incidentally, I was once sued by a skunk for property damage.
That may or may not be true.
Just make sure you step around it instead of through it, as it leads to Silent Hill.
You just wanted to get rid of the cursed thing, didn't you?
*opens door, throws in live grenade, then ties door shut with multicoloured woolen scarf*
I'm like McGyver.
You never know who (or what) is inside...
Er, er, Firebird did it!
Here, have this grenade that's about to go off-
JUST KIDDING! Here, have this unspecific thing instead. It can be anything you want it to be, provided you have the imagination!
Hooray, it's a plot device for later use! Thanks, Mr. Chekhov! Wait, it turned into a grenade that's about to-
Hello! Have a seventeen foot long, multicolored, wool, knit scarf (curly wig not included), and a bag of jelly babies.
Please use them IRresponsibly!
What fandoms do you follow?
Fandoms, fandoms...
Well, I've always been a massive fan of the Discworld series. I've just started reading LotR, too, thanks to this very place! Er. I read a lot of manga, but I'm not sure if you can cover that here...
Also, thanks for the gifts! They make me suspect that you're someone else from England. It was warm today; that was nice.
So do I! :) What series?
Well, Naruto and Bleach. But they're obvious. I read Deathnote ages ago, and am collecting Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle and Mahou Sensei Negima at the moment. Right at this moment I'm reading Fairy Tail. I'm open to any recommendations, of course!
*breathe*
I don't like the Big Three much (Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach) but Death Note was amazing.
Reccomendations? Well, I have to say Hikaru no Go. It's drawn by Takeshi Obata, the same person who drew Death Note, but the author's different. I love it. Contesting for my favorite manga...
If you're reading Tsubasa, I'd recommend xxxHOLIC, the sister series--assuming you haven't read it already. It's good.
I'm a bit scared of reading XXXholic, because of potential spoilers. That said, I've already read 10 volumes ^^;
And a friend of mine has recommended Hikaru no Go in the past, but then put me off by raving about the ending being lame. The art does look amazing, though.
But the rest makes up for it. ^.^
Thanks for the wisdom, master ^^
