It's a telling sign of a story's quality when you get to the end of the story and say 'what, that's it?' and then in hindsight realize how perfect an ending it was.

It's brilliant and evil how it makes you want to learn more about this girl, why she's with this guy despite how much she seems to dislike him. Is this dislike new? Caused by some recent development that's altered her perception of him? Perhaps she hangs out with him for superficial reasons? Perhaps she stays with him despite her dislike because she dislikes herself and wants to punish herself - or because she thinks he'd be able to help her get over what may be a crippling depression.

I'll have to read it again when I have time.
