Whoo!! I'm back!
After four months of no connection to the net... *weeps*
Finally!
Most have probably forgotten me... I turned up beginning of January, and lost all connection midst of February. *ahem*
Reintroduction:
Big fan of the PPC in general, the Original Series, DOGA and DTE in particular.
I originate from Cologne, Germany, am a female univerity student, 18 year sold and love LotR; thus I came across fanfiction, found the German translation of OFUM, then read the English original, stumbled across a mention of the PPC and was immediately hooked.
Haven't had time yet to catch up on everything that happened, but I am so glad to finally be back!
*hugs everyone in reach*
I think I'll throw a party to celebrate my reconnection to the awesomeness that is the PPC!

*grimace* I feel your pain with fluky computers. I'm lucky enough not to have had any issues that last THAT long, though... at least not ones that prevent me from doing anything.

Was a malfunctioning PC the matter with no connection?
I know something about almost-dead computers... mine is one.
And it got worse when I joined the PPC. PPC has a bad effect on tecnology. *stares at his computer in case it blows up* -

Don't know. It just wouldn't work... My computer itself was fine, but the internet connection, no matter what way, LAN or wireless, refused to work. I had to do a complete reconfiguration, several times, to make it work along with changing my provider, to make it work at home. Still refuses to work in other networks or public access points.

Nobody has ever given me a pet cat before... I do own a cheetah (thanks to wikimaster) and a bengal tiger (forgotten from whom), but a pet cat...
THANKS!!
So nice... *wipes a tear*
And I name the cat... I know! Berúthiel, like the Queen of Gondor, wive of Falastur, who owned nine black and one white cat and was famous for them. Sounds fitting? -
Indeed, a cat must have a proper name. by

And that one definately seems fitting. *pets Berúthiel*

Ten-gallon hat? How much is that in litres? Around thirty?
O.O
Anyway... Thanks, and I will see if I have a shelf big enough for it. Or maybe I can use it to begin breeding ostrichs? It should have about the right size to capture one. Now all I need is a pole, and then I can go hunting... -

I don't believe we've met. I'm Pretzel, and it's nice to meet you. Welcome back! I know how it is with idiotic computers and stuff- my power cord for my laptop managed to crap out on me for a good two months, so I was without my computer during the last bit of my previous quarter in college. Not fun.
As for the party, my agents shall definitely be joining in, now that I've got Permission and stuff. They are Ian Nahinu and Lee Keaton. Feel free to do with them as you wish; Lee's a bit of a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, and anything with mint in it gets her even more tipsy/snuggle-prone (which is weird, 'cause she's normally not all that touchy-feely), as she's a feline-based shapeshifter and therefore affected by anything in the mint family, like catnip. (For further info, look either on the Wiki or here).
My apologies for rambling; I do that quite a bit. Anyways, welcome back, and I can't wait to talk and interact with you further.

Congratulations on your triumphant return to the internet!
Have a Roto-Router! It's a thin metal wire you can feed through the tubes when the internets get clogged.

Wait, did I spell that right? Anyways, it's really delicious, Chinese, and involves loads of sticky rice, Chinese sausagey-stuff, mushrooms, and a bunch of yummmies thrown together.
Gosh, I hate it when my Internet has problems... but it's never been for FOUR MONTHS. Wow. -

Thanks for the ship. The second you gave me!
And about the party: Your agents are most welcome. I am not quite sure if, and if so, when I will write an account of the party, but your agents will certainly be mentioned if that happens.
I will host the party in an as of yet unknown location (I am open for any suggenstions), and I will take care of all drinks, mainly beer and soda, but again, open to suggestions. The only thing I won't offer is the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, as laws of physics state it cannot be mixed on Earth. If someone wants, I will also offer BBQ. -

... they'll keep each other company.
You can mention my Agents if needed, of course. They'll bring their own cocktail, which they named 'ZPM'. Don't ask why, but Krisprolls is said to abuse it, and that's what makes him so energetic. Truth is, he's naturally so. (Whatever says it's because he naturally produces the thing in his blood)
(ZPMs are huge energy sources in Stargate Atlantis) -
