Well, it looks like Bleepfic has won. Still, it's so close, it wouldn't be fair to snub any of the other terms, since they're so popular, so I've made a new article at the wiki entitled Bleepfic, but all the major runners-up are mentioned there as well. Please, take a look and make any additions you like. I've also adjusted the Legendary Badfic page to reflect the new disctinctions.
Thanks to all of you for helping :) -

I think we can probably assume we're going to decide on "Bleepfic"; it's six to two, now seven with my vote.
I like "C*1-level fic", or "Code C*l", too, like "Code 10" (for tenth walker fics); but Bleepfic is more casual and intuitive. Plus, we'd have to explain to the poor traumatized newbies where the "C*" came from, and that's just sadistic. -
I like that one. :) by

Just "Code C", maybe? It's hard to pronounce * marks. The experienced agents could use it, at least...

"Code C" sounds formal. by

So maybe that's the way it'd show up on the console readout when you PPC'd it; but most everybody would just call them "bleepfics"?

Just because we 'officially' name them "Bleepfics" doesn't mean we can't use other terms for them as well - "Worsefic", I imagine, is going to stay pretty common regardless of whether or not it makes a late break and wins the vote. I just wanted to get one 'standard' term so we could name a wiki article with it, but there's no reason the first line of that article can't be something like, "Bleepfics, also known as worsefics, AUGHfics, and many other such names, are..."
It's up to you. If you're writing a mission and your agents see "Code C" on the monitor, then whether they immediately translated it to "bleepfic" is a matter of your writing and their personalities. :) -

Bleepfic.
Because it's easy to spell and pronounce, short to type, and perfectly expresses the emotion such fics evoke.

I really like Bleepfic and AUGHfic. I guess since this is going to be a PPC term that I will go with Bleepfic, because it is PPC-centric.
So my vote is for Bleepfic. -

AUGHfic is rather generic, Glaurung isn't restricted to the PPC (and some people might not know who he is), but I find the idea of a 'Bleepfic' automatically unnapealing and very PPC.

(Although it feels weird to type that many -ng endings onto a word.) Failing that, Extremely Badfic.
(Horrorfic and HorroFic sound like a legitimate variation of Dark Fic or a term for crossovers with a horror movie.)
Can I nominate "The Horribly Bloody Death of Kairi" for the list? -

These terms or the list of eligible badfic? It sounds like a fic title. I think we'd better hold off in filling the category until after we've named it, though.

I believe "squickfic" has been used for similar purposes ... by

... but the glossary made by the BagEnders people gave the meaning of that as "fic written with the intention of squicking as many people as possible", and presumably most of the LBs weren't meant to be as bad as they are, so I don't know if that would work.

Primarily because it doesn't rely on PPC in-knowledge, like bleepfic, or semi-obscure fandom knowledge, like who Glaurung is.

"Worsefic".
