Hi there. I'm a real-life lolcat, and I was directed to this board by a dear friend (even though I'd read PPC several years ago, I'd somehow never meandered my fatcat way over to the board).
Long-time reader of badfic and the mocking thereof. Fan of The Burning Dumpster (run by a friend of my brother's, actually) and PPC in particular. My sister and I did some of our own MST3King of some fic in the grand tradition of the Burning Dumpster, but we then got distracted by shiny lights.
So. Hi. -

Welcome to the Board! Please deposit your sanity in the provided receptacle. *indicates bucket marked "Warg Fodder"* You shan't need it here. Also, here's... OH NOES! THE STRING! YOU MUST CAPTURE IT!

Do I detect a fellow Warriors fan? Your cattiness and screen name suggest such.
Hello! Welcome to the insanity! We could use more lolcats here. *pets* -

Warriors? I am not familiar with this. My name comes from a list of Mary Sue names gleaned from random fics. -

Fair winds! Oh, you don't need a crew. The ship is sentient.

Hello and welcome to the PPC Posting Board! Since cats can't have chocolate, have a catnip mouse instead!

Here are some cufflinks, cat-sized cuffs, and a [random generic item]. Remember: Style is almost as important as function.

Do not feed it Sues or Stus. It is for mascot purposes only.

I take it upon myself to extend welcomes from the entire army of newbies that has assaulted this board over the past month. Unfortunately I just gave away my last stuffed Emu, but I've got a toy rat named Roger that you can have instead.

Hello! Have a seventeen foot long, multi-colored, wool, knit scarf (curly wig not included), and a bag of jelly babies.
I added extra tassels onto the ends of yours, so it will make a better kitty toy. :D
Please use themIRresponsibly!

Whew! No more mad scientist kitty cats. That is a relief.
That is so cool about the scarf. In Real Life I want to learn how to knit, primarily so I can make of these.
Vera, the gun, Vera? -

For learning the basics of knitting, I recommend the Stitch'n'Bitch book by Debbie Stoller. That's how I learned (after having learnt it years ago and forgetting it and then having to re-learn, that is).
And for the scarf in particular, this site is very useful: http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/
Yep, the gun Vera. ;) -

I have seen that site. It is very cool. I was much too lazy last night to go get the link, and paste it in here. I really have no idea why I was still up at 3 am.
I'll look that book up. Thanks for the recommendation.
How did you get Vera!? -

(Seriously though it was more an allusion to me being the Jayne of the party rather than anyone else. Jayne or Zoe, really. Sort of a mid-ground between the two.) -

And, welcome to the Board finally~ : ) I offer you a leash, flame-retardant and approximately brain-sized, for when you don't want your mind to wander.

A lolcat, eh? That means...you're on our board, chatting in our threads!
I hear cats are immune to scorpion venom, so here's a fat-tailed scorpion from my local Arizona deserts.
And now, Keyboard Cat will play me off... -

I shall love him and keep him and he shall be called... Rots! (Which is Dutch for "Rock", btw.)
I'd play you the symphony of space, but AstroCat is a bit finicky about the copyright there.... -
