March Madness -- GOAL.
It's been over a year since the last mission I wrote; it was nice to stretch these muscles again. (It's also been a while since I ran into something that made me quite so irate. >.>)
Anyway.

Mission: What Did We Do To Deserve This?
Agents: Katrina and Samuel, DMS
Fandom: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Probably SFW, though Kat does tend to swear a bit.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is probably unfamiliar to the majority of the Board. It's a fairly standard shonen manga/anime, about a teenaged boy, Tsunayoshi Sawada, who is wholly useless. Unfortunately, he's the sole remaining eligible candidate for the position of the tenth-generation boss of a large and influential mafia family. Hijinks ensue. I do recommend it if you have spare time and/or a burning need to expand your fandoms. It can be a bit silly/monotonous/etc. for the first ~60 chapters/ ~20 episodes, occasionally called the 'Daily Life' arc, but after that it quickly becomes a whole lot more epic.
Sadly for the canon characters, the majority of them are pretty boys.

I acknowledge that most people probably won't even bother, given how few seem to know the fandom. Still, it got done, and that has to count for something. ^_^

In regards to the Sues' assorted powers: What.

I read KHR and found it hysterically funny through the Daily Life arc. I started to get bored when the genre shift occurred and the story got serious, then gave up some way into the tournament arc.

Fun mission, though. Having things not go quite according to plan always makes for interesting reading.

I don't know the canon, but using a canon villain (I think?) to help take out a dangerous Sue, but then making them a greater threat, set this mission apart from most others, and made it a lot of fun to read.

Mukuro is... complicated. Technically he's an ally of the protagonists, due to a rather complicated series of events, but he's a horribly manipulative bastard who was at one point a villain, and it wouldn't surprise me if he became one again.

He's also easily one of the coolest characters in the show, and my personal favorite.

I think I'd prefer a drawing, if you don't mind. I never have been able to get Samuel to cooperate; perhaps you'd have better luck?

KHR! was, and still is, on my list of anime series' to check out. It lost repeatedly, to Code Geass, Gundam 00, Macross Frontier and now Kyou Kara Maou. One of these days I shall get around to watching it.

Ooh, nice mission. And I like the Code Geass reference.

I never did manage to get more than ten episodes or so into Kyou Kara Maou; it drove me a little crazy. In your opinion, is it worth trying to get back on the horse, so to speak?

I've never heard of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, but you explained in there why things were out of character, so I think I followed it pretty well. Man, that was an uber powerful Sue. Between the two of them, I don't think they missed many super powers.

You know, the "I'm 14 and fail my english classes." (English being uncapped there because the Suethor left it uncapped.) Is probably one of the lamest excuses possible. She's admitting that she knows the story is total garbage, but she's going to post it anyway? Honestly, it takes some special kind of stupid (and arrogance) to do that.

I liked how you took them down, even if it was tense for a bit there at the end. Oh! Also, that mini chameleon sounds awesome!
