Okay, not really. Most likely I'll still spend most of my time lurking. Still, I spent the last two days absorbing everything I possibly could about the PPC, and I finally decided to show my face around the boards.
You can blame TVTropes for getting me interested in the PPC, though I'd heard it mentioned a few times before. There are a few fans over on the Captain SNES boards as well, and the SPC Foundation guys have brought you lot up more than once.
I know I had questions as well as just saying hi, but I can't remember them for the life of me, so I suppose that they'll have to wait. -

Welcome to the Board. Please deposit your sanity in the provided receptacle. *indicates bucket marked "Warg Fodder"* You shan't be needing it here. Also, here is some condensed Erin Go Bragh scraped from the walls of a concert hall. No, I don't know what you can use it for. Shuttup.

New people are generally excellent. Nice to meet you. I'm Makari; may I call you Data? I'm loath to use DJ, and I have an unfortunate tendency to abbreviate things four syllables and over.
Here, have a harness-and-leash set. They're amazingly useful, for anything from minis to partners to runaway brains. -

Data, DJ, "Holy shit, it's a green panda!", new guy. They all work, so long as I know that you're referring to me.

Thanks, I think. I dunno what I'm gonna do with a ship, though. Aside from the obvious answer of gathering a crew and becoming a pirate, of course.

A green panda pirate with a nice hat and a liking for cyberpunk? How can this possibly go wrong?
Now all I need is a crew. -
You don't need a crew. by

The ship is sentient. But you can still recruit, they'll just enjoy the ride.

Hello. Not knowing exactly what you've read already, I nevertheless recommend taking the time to visit the PPC Lost Tales archive. It is still under construction in places, but since GeoCities went under it is the only place to find some of the stories that were written contemporarily with the Original Series.
(And everyone, please let me know if you have any issues with the site layout, or spot typos, or anything like that. I've recently noticed that the story text overlaps the dragon sidebar on some monitors, and I haven't fixed everything yet. Also let me know if you'd like to contribute time or data in any way.)
That said, welcome a'Board!

Awesomesauce. I'll be sure to check that out at some point. I seem to have most of the wiki open in tabs at the moment, so I'm gonna try and cut down on a few of those first.

Have a 17 foot long, multi-colored, wool knit scarf (curly wig not included). Come check out the IRC channel. It's linked through the wiki, or here:

I'd say we don't bite there, but some of the Plushies like to chew a bit. *cough!Bryn!cough!*
Anyway, welcome.

Does that mean we will have to fight you before you become available for play? Just asking, because if that is the case then I should get my DK tie cleaned and ready for use.
Anyways, welcome. Have a bar of holographic chocolate. -

Nah, all these br- er, gifts are good enough. Besides, for a guy who's frequently represented by a large bear wearing a hat, I'm surprisingly bad at fighting.

I'm sure somebody'll spam you with links soon, so I'll just give you an egg whisk. It's shiny, gold-plated, and whisks not only eggs but author wraiths and those pesky spambots, too. Use it for good and not
muchevil.
Welcome to the insanity! Enjoy the ride. -

Insanity is my natural habitat, and I /always/ enjoy the ride. The egg whisk shall most definitely see use, too. I'm not much on eggs, but scrambled author with bacon is always a good start to the day.
It's not cannibalism if they're Sues! It's also not cannibalism when you're a verdant panda with a jaunty chapeau. I am, of course not a green bear with a nice hat, but I do have a tendency to use one as my avatar.
What was the point of that? Well, I'm sure there was one, but it's been lost in my caffeine rush.
