Hi there! I am a frequent on the Pit of Voles and I have enjoyed several PPCs to the maximum! I respect everything you do, and one day I will become one of you all. :D
Hello and welcome to the PPC Posting Borad! Have some chocolate and enjoy your stay!
Thanks. I will. I am also on The Pit.
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5560010/1/Promises
It's my latest story. I am a total LOTR freak.
Believe me, it's useful - maybe not for sleeping, but for putting others to sleep.
I see that it may be used for the more *permanent* sleep.
Somewhat off-topic, but since it is this post that made me check to see if you are ukitsu43 (and it seems you are):
We have a one pen-name policy on the Board, because it is confusing when people have more than one. It's in the Board Constitution, which we do expect everyone to read and abide by. If you make a switch--maybe you got tired of the old one, I dunno--it is polite to inform us about it instead of just leaving us to figure it out by checking your IP address. Okay? {= )
~Neshomeh
I totally didn't mean to. But yes, I did change it. It had already picked out ukitsu43 from my email or something. I wasn't trying to do somethin...unnatural.
I just found out how to change it. Sorry about that. Don't slay me X(
I will add another tip, though: if you've been using the login button, don't; there's no need. Most of us find it easier to simply enter our user names in the Author field when we post. {= )
And kudos if you were making a Sam Gamgee reference there. ^_^
~Neshomeh
Hi ukitsu!
Welcome! Here's a bottle of bleeprin, and I have heard they have bumper stickers somewhere back there *gestures behind her*.
*pokes ceremonially*
Welcome! Also, please have this bumper sticker! *sticks on bumper sticker reading "Spell-check is my co-pilot."*
If you need even more material to read, may I point you to the PPC Lost Tales archive? It's still under construction in places, but there are some PPC stories there that you won't be able to find anywhere else now that Geocities is gone. Enjoy!
~Neshomeh
The lost tales are the best PPC's yet in my opinion.
Welcome! I offer to thee...a coxcomb! Which is a sort of silly hat. One can never have too many silly hats.
Fair winds!
Thank yuou! Well, I tire of waiting for the bucket so, I guess I'll throw it to the winds. My mind is already shot, seeing as I spent my morning weeding through the dreek at the Pit for my first assignment. I can taste the INSANITY!!!
Dance! Dance the dance of life!!!
I comes bearing links. *drags out Big Bag O' Links and digs through it*
First off is the link to the Wiki, a veritable fount of information for a newbie to read through. Especially helpful for you if you want to write missions would be the page on Permission (note the capital P).
I would advise against reading any Legendary Badfic, unless you are of strong mind and stomach. Even the summaries have been known to give those of weaker constitution nightmares.
For your reading pleasure, not knowing what you have already managed to find, I have several links for you. The Original Series (not to be confused with Star Trek) is a good place to start, as the PPC did many aeons ago. What do you mean I'm exaggerating? The Department of Geographical Aberrations is another interesting place to visit, if you have the time and inclination. Also by hS is the Tangled Webs site, which contains backstory for the PPC as an organisation. If you would rather visit the Floaters, then July's site is the place you need to be. And last, but most definitely not least, Response Centre 45 is where Trojie and Pads' missions are archived.
Hope you enjoy your stay here. Please deposit your sanity into the container offered to you by another Boarder; you won't be needing it here.
And Honey. I like honey.
Have a 17 foot long, multi-color, wool, knit scarf--curly wig not included. :D
I'm pretty new here, also. It has been a blast so far!
Welcome to the insanity! Have a plush panda. :D
What fandoms are you into?
Hello! That's pretty much it, really...
Agent Sam and Sidhe say hello (Well, Sidhe says Aneth ara).
Welcome to the Board, have lots of fun (oh, and have a bucket for your sanity. Don't worry, we won't let the Mabari have *all* of it...).
If you'd like a mini for yourself, I've got a ton left over from that last horror on the Pit. Great Hades, what a nightmare.
Like I said have fun here--we're all a little nuts, and we don't bite...unless we're really, really hungry.
Honu_Wahine(I'm probably the craziest person you'll meet here)
Have a venomous arthropod!
Welcome to the PPC! Here's a set of archery equipment from the Raven Armory and a bottle of bleeprin. (Unfortunately, I'm not all that much of a role model here, as I have no plans at the moment to PPC anything. The Pit of Voles has stolen my sanity at last.)
*pokes*
Anyway, welcome to the Board! Shortly, someone will come up to you with a bucket labelled 'Warg Fodder and ask you to deposit your sanity inside. Do so. It is the best place for it during your stay here.
Also, take a softnose laser.
So, what are your fandoms?
As of now, my main fandom is LOTR. There also some sprinkles of Naruto there, but I have become extremly dissatisfied with Kishi, as of late. But thank you all for your...interesting gifts. I'm going to put them iin my gift box!
One question; what is bleeprin?
FYI: I would leave my sanity in a bucket but as it hangs by a wiry thread, I will keep the only thing that stabalizes me. Seriously, ask anyone who knows me. I'm sort of like the Billy Mays of friends aka CAPS LOCKS KID.
