The code is quite simple.
And I'd like to make it clear that M. only did some shovel-bashing because the flower was talking and /flowers don't talk/ so she thought it best to neutralize the threat before it could eat her.
What is the attitude of the Flowers towards shovels?
Probably: Why did you bring this into my office? You do know we are not permanently rooted like our non-sentient cousins, right? Wait, what are you doing? OW! Stop! Security! Captain Dandy, somebody, stop this crazy agent!
Now, flamethrowers and weed whackers are another matter entirely.
Namely, what M. was doing when D. went to collect her.
(Seriously, if anything like this happens, it's going in the Adventures. And D.'s not going to be happy at all, considering her current condition.)
((There, that's my code. It's a really bad code. I think the implication that D. is pregnant may have thrown them off, though!))

Ok, yeah, D. is going to be downright upset. Especially when she comes back and finds that B.'s in her chair and she can't even sit down, she has to stay with the shovel-wielding maniac.
Yup, the code is fun! Not very secure, but fun :)
(...of course that's what happened. M. WOULD do that. Why are so many of our characters off to a rocky start in their relationships? D. and M., D. and...everyone, really, D. and B., N. and F...F. and C. and p...)
