I don’t need a babysitter. I’m capable of handling myself. She said. Your just wasting his skills and mine. She said. Murtagh was trying desperately not to laugh at her reaction and how stubborn she was being.

My comment: An abysmal canon, and I'm looking forward to the day it goes to the Musée des Univers Perdus, but it's still a plot continuum and therefore the PPC's duty to protect it.
What's "Musée des Univers Perdus"?
It should go to the wiki. I love the idea.
After reading the first sentence to miss Meip, Agents Rose/Ross and Meip are willing to take on this travesty. Might give us a break from Tortallverse.
So yeah. *claims*
Rose is going to venture into a Eragon badfic? You poor brave bastard. Good luck.
More like blazing stupidity. But both Meip and I know the Canon, so... Yeah. And, sadly, actually LIKE the Canon. As fluff, you know? Between Ethnomusicology textbooks, Herman Melville, and Gaelic practice, sometimes you need a little mindless reading... And that's just on my end.
Normally I whack it with the source material, but since the actual material is a bad fic mix of a bunch of good stories, what are you going to do?
I would be tempted to grab all the origional stuff and whack it with that. But that is just me.

Kill squeaky traumatized pwecious little "Marina" in the most inventive, satisfying way possible, and whack the Canons with both the Canon and a hefty Oxford English Dictionary, as well as Strunk and White's Elements of Style (I think that's what it is, it's currently 5:16 in the morning where I am, so my brain is a little... off), and the Writer's Manual that an old English Teacher gave me (and my Agent(s)...) until they go back to themselves.
It's like my little sister said when I tried to explain how to tell if it was a replacement Sue in the Twilight Continuum. "So, if she's so out of character that I ACTUALLY WOULD PREFER THE ORIGINAL, then she's a Sue?"
The same can be said for the very Canon of this Canon...
Sorry if that rambled. Again, it's either really, really, really late, or really, really, really early where I am.
